not worth watching

I watched this since it was highly raved by my cousin and we both love Park Seo Joon...but I was not a fan of his hair cut in this show! lol This drama did not need 16 episodes. I am the type of person who binge watches kdrama in 1 sitting or 2. It took me a good week to finish this drama coz I couldn't really get into it. I really liked the the love interest between ML and the 2nd FL. The main FL lead irritated me - both her acting and how she looked in the show. Granted, yes, her look was probably intentional to be kind of quirky and eccentric. She was extremely selfish and arrogant and treated Jang Geun Soo so terrible and he did everything to try and be with her!! I didn't like the fact that Sae Ro Yi ended up with her. It would have been a better ending had he not ended up with either of the love interests.

If you have misophonia like I do, Yoo Jae Myung's character while eating will trigger you. The loud slurping was rage inducing >_<". I also can't believe Sae Ro Yi actually kneeled to him!!!! UGH!!

A lot of scenes felt like fillers to me and I almost didn't even bother finishing the show.

Great show! wished there were more episodes

The story line for this is really good. It's very relatable and not your usual run of the mill HS series. The actors did a great job and while everyone hates Beom Seok's character, I do feel bad for him. He had such a rough life and was so lost. Hong Kyung did such a great job in this role!!

This was the first show I watched Park Ji Hoon in and he's an amazing actor! I don't think he gets enough credit and should be way more famous!!

The villian (RIP Na Chul) was extremely entertaining to watch and he was probably my favorite character in this show.

Suho and Sieun reunion was disappointing

After watching both S1 and S2, I prefer the storyline in S1 more. S2 however had the BEST cast!!! The storyline just wasn't really believable.

I did enjoy watching this and like most ppl my favourite character was Geum Seong Je which was immaculately played by Lee Jun Young!!

The reunion of Suho and Sieun was extremely anti-climatic. I was expecting a warmer reception but they just stood there apart acting so non chalant towards each other. The guy has been in a coma for who knows how long. You visit him every day and when he finally wakes up... come on. That's just my opinion.

a must watch! super funny!

I wished they had casted someone else for the role of Lim Joo Kyng. I can't stand Moon Ga Young's acting and her crying scenes really irritated me. I almost didn't finish the series coz I couldn't keep watching her. She's pretty don't get. me wrong, just not a fan of her acting. Specifically her crying and gummy teeth LOL.

This movie had a lot of funny scenes and I really enjoyed watching it overall. I didn't read the mangwa so I went into this series blindly. I wished (as with a lot of kdramas since I always have 2nd lead syndrome) that she ended up with Seojun instead of Suho. Seojun was always there for her and never broke her heart. Suho did a couple times in that show. The rivalry between Seojun and Suho was the best. Even when they "made up" and still had that banter with each other.

wished it was better

After struggling to power through this series, I can see why it has such a low rating lol. There are some top tier actors in this series so I really expected it to be a lot better. This wasn't produced very well. All past "history" scenes should have been in the first episode and not scattered throughout the series. It made it really boring and irritating to watch since it would be inserted during action and climax scenes. The wigs in this show were awful. You could totally tell they were wigs, and not even the good kind.

I hate the fact that they "killed" off Ogwi. Even though he may not be really dead given the end scene but I'm thinking he will probably come back evil. The ripping of his wings was sad/uncomfortable to watch :( All the past angels were resurrected and alive but they killed off one of the best main characters? Doesn't make sense.

Also, given how S1 turned out... I doubt there will be much hype/anticipation about a possible S2 coming out.

I love the fact that Park Hyung Sik played an anti hero role! It's such a nice change from his usual happy/funny romcoms. I love his acting in those upbeat romcoms though, he's one of my favorite actors!!

this is a must watch!!

Anything that has Park Hyung Sik will be good! He's such a phenomenal actor. Storyline is also good. There were some parts where I felt they dragged on for a bit so I don't think this drama needed 16 episodes... maybe 14 would have been good. The 2nd leads were entertaining to watch as well. A lot of funny moments in this series. I am relieved that Park Hyung Sik's character doesn't make amends with this family at the end. I like how they left it as him still needing to heal from the past trauma rather than having everyone end up being all happy together despite what they had gone through.

It's really a hidden gem!

I don't think I have laughed as much as I have in this kdrama!! This is definitely on my list of top 5 kdramas!! I wasn't going to watch this coz I thought it seemed very cringy and cheesy. While there are definitely some cheesy aspects to this, the story line is actually very good! It's also packed full of high list korean actors!!! I've been on somewhat of a binge watching shows that star Seo In Guk for some reason and I gotta say, i'm a huge fan of his characters. While a lot of them seem the same, his facial expressions are very well suited for the roles. I highly recommend this show!! I also have a new found love for Seo Kang Joon. He is soooo dreamy!!!! I really like the sound effects and of course the dramatic slow motion scenes!!!!
