tbh a ton of the negative comments she's been getting are coming from fans of XZ.
I am a XZ fan and I was one of those fans who highly recommended Ren Min for this role when it was first announced here in MDL. I always defend most of his leading ladies ( Li Qin, Yang Zi, Wang Yuwen, Elaine Zhong, Bai Lu, Nikita Mao and Ren Min ).

Tencent spent a lot of money on the CGI for this drama.
I still give Tencent the credit for the better CGI in Xianxia drama. There must be a reason for not promoting TLP. Let us not be upset and just enjoy the drama.
