Friendship, Happiness, and Hope (Ep4, 33:01)

I am lost for words. But I think I must do a review for how good this is.

The story is captivating, yet sobering, portrait of young students and the various struggles, challenges, and fleeting joys they go through as they develop in a society that all too frequently ignores and pushes them aside. It was everything, the friendship and bonds that must endure in the face of anything going on around them is told best as a character piece. (Did you realize that when Beom Seok lost his eyeglasses on the videoke bar, until then he doesn't wear it and that is when we see his true character or should I say his story.) That was brilliant!.

A talented cast. Even in the brief time we, the viewer, get to spend with the three actors, they effortlessly establish a great chemistry between them. They actually make you wish we could spend a little more time with them before the series takes its darker turns because of how well they get along. Their performances also have no trouble evoking the appropriate emotions from the difficult material. (Park Ji Hoon as Yeon Shi Eun, he definitely ate that role, what a great actor.)

A must-watch for the reason that has an unflinching storytelling, superb cast performances, and gritty but refined style.

I cried.

"When you're weak, I'll be strong. And when I'm weak, I'd appreciate a helping hand from you."

I might not be able to love it as much as the drama, but it was definitely a beautiful one.

I love every bit of it. You can tell every scene has meaning - every touch, every word and every expression. This was so needlessly sweet and warm and pleasant and respectful to the source material,

Even some says the magic was lost, well not for me. Still my favorite couple and sure many will also agree for them.

The beach scene >>>>>>>>>>>

Absolutely recommended to watch it. Especially if you are having a bad day, this is the answer thus re watch this as many times as you can.

May we find the Adachi and Kurosawa in our lives. <3

Outstanding characterization

What an amazing journey. The fact that ULS is an adapted screenplay, it really retained the soul of the manga. They also did a great job of picturing the script.

The way the relationships between the characters are developed is great. And with strong direction, the characters were also expertly and carefully written. With this cast, they did fantastic job with their roles and their relationship has such great chemistry.

One could contend that this series lacks strength, which I could see on some parts, but most of all it was thoughtfully planned and well-written, addition of the excellent work from the cast with of course those wonderful ost/s.

A must watch for this show really exhibits that romantic feelings existed even before we realized it and how crucial trust is for a healthy love, be it love of intimacy or love of friendships.

P.S.
I guess they have the most sweet-comfortable-hug I'd ever seen in a kbl.

"Why did you come into my life and make things difficult for me? Why?"

That scene and that line summarize the whole season. This shows us a cinema!

The whole cast is great. A script with quality and top-notch storytelling. The score and pace is everything. Even though it only has 8 episodes, this feels like a 16 long ep-drama for me and its a compliment.

It was really good, hence I recommended you to see it and better if you watch it slowly, don't binge it. Take time to grasp the happenings.

Anyways a great show. Just prepare yourself, for this series uses our brain cells. lol.
And worry not for all questions were answered in S1.

P.S
Excited for season 2!. I see you "No Caller ID". :')

MOTHER

In most dramas, it typically gets less interesting as the episodes go on, but this is not the case with this gem. As the story progress, its getting better and better and ended with the most beautiful and perfect denouement. Yet, viewers can also continue the tale if they want to in their imagination.

The acting and the music is top notch. The pacing is excellent and the comedic timing, chefs kiss.

Also the way she was portrayed as a queen, a mother, and a woman was so pure and glorious. The queen is a mother , not just to her offspring. depending on the circumstance, can be firm or gentle demands, and they are all made out of genuine love and concern, women protect women. This also shows us that just because they are a mother and an adult does not mean they are right all the time, and I think that is so okay and humane.

A must watch for its one of the best historical dramas to have recently been released. It has good writing, smart decisions, and is intriguing.

As the queen says if I remember correctly, "Even between parent and child, it takes time for wounds to heal, such that some things are unspoken but still understood," .that is so real. And at the end of the day, the children will also protect their mother.

"I just need to balance myself once, and I'll be safe forever"

This film shattered me in ways I cannot describe.

Absolutely breathtaking in every way and suffocatingly lovely with excellent cinematography, colours, script, and acting.

The English title of this film is linked to the novel of the same name that refers to the structure of the story. It tells the parallel time and space that the man encounters many years later (2020, autumn: daegu, seoul, and busan) and brings him many references and dialogues to stimulate his inner reflection, especially in every parallel time and space will be interspersed with the memories of the mother on the sickbed or the only friend he was in love in the past, but no matter what, the movie buries the most secrets or the big event between him and his first love, which caused the two to go their separate ways and meet again. Even decades later, this also caused the man to suffer from the mental torture of the incident and the repressed personality shaping in these decades.

What remains unchanged is the fact that his mother passed away and his sister suffered from cancer. He learned to accept the pain he must go through. The constant possibility and modified memory are intertwined together, bringing rich and unique meaning of the same nature, when pointing and is linked to the latest meeting from the last parting between the two, the man will finally take that step, rush to the person he loves, and go with him no matter what. He didn't want to hold back any more, that "see you tomorrow" was a long, long time.

A must watch for it tells us that you can just embrace the one you love, tap your nose with your fingertips, turn your wrist around and make a gesture of praise, even if all the stories end in the same way, the one you love will exist in every universe.

I am so normal with this show......

omgomgomgomgomgomgomgomg Love for loves sake is a game-changer in the bl realm, taking you on a journey that's anything but ordinary.

Tae Myung Ha's switcheroo from a regular 29-year-old to a 19-year-old character inside a virtual game is like stepping into uncharted territory. The quest to sprinkle some happiness into Cha Yeo Woon's pixelated life brings forth a mix of track and field glory, handsome looks, and emotional wrecking...

The ending is pure cinematic magic, not rushed but carefully crafted, making it stand out in the Kbl landscape. The chemistry between the characters feels real. The acting is good. Characters are lovable. Iconic lines. Well-written script. Nice visuals. Name it. This is Cinema!

A must watch! It is a delightful anomaly in the best way possible, offering a unique blend of romance, drama, and a dash of virtual reality that's anything but normal.

kim taeri with guns is may favorite genre

Entertainment at its best! All cast did really well portray those characters. I want to watch it again with sister cuz for sure she would love this.

What I really love the most is the comedic timing in those unexpected times. It is a classic I fear... that I am okay with that cliffhanger at the end?!?!?!?

Maybe I will re watch this many times before the second movie comes out. I really enjoyed it and now I need kim taeri to act in small screens again! ( A kdrama I mean.) I got news that she has one next year omg I am very excited.

This review is turning into a fan-bias, so I'll just stop it here.

Definitely recommended, so watch it. <3

Okay am I the one who actually like the show???? HAHaHAHAHahahah

Yeah, I know the bad points of this series: too short, not so good execution, somehow the chemistry is not giving, lazy writing and that recap in every episode is so annoying. But why did came up with an 8.5 rate?

Why I really like in this series is the music. Yes, the MUSIC. The songs they came up with every scene, and the opening song is too good not to talk about. And also I give them points for they have something different from other bls by telling a unique love story but yes it should have been better, but they tried yeah. we're getting there...

On the other hand, I will really eat this up if they continue the light, cute , sweet storyline but it wasn't like I was expecting. Still the cast acted it good. (Oh all of them are visuals!)

Yeah, the kbl formula and its short runtime is getting tiresome, and this is the last show I will be considerate because I really love the music lol. <3

I think I enjoyed it but not that satisfied. I've been expecting more because I know the director is good in this type of genre but I guess they limit themselves for this. Not that it has only six episodes but the story should have been explored more. I love the acting though and the vibes of this , a thriller kdrama with a little touch of japanese gore.

Anyways I'm still recommending it to watch this, for the fact hae in is here and he surely delivers. I'm not expecting a second season soon, but if there is I might watch it. That ending got me a little bit curious.

“Isn't the sunset here beautiful? this is my favorite time of the day”

What a ride. Even though there were times that I didn't actually like how the story goes but I did enjoy the whole show.

The beginning episodes are absolutely amazing. I did shed some tears and got hooked. The ending was not that bad. The cast was amazing, I think they are really destined to portray each of them.

The osts... I like it.. I really love how they used it in a scene. A very good job there.

Anyways at the start I was here for kang min and woo hyun,(my lomls) but stayed for lee jong won. he is great actor and of course sung jae as expected of him.

This is not for everybody I think, but if you'll watch it. Its worth the time.

P.S . Looking forward for lee jong won's next drama. <3

Boyhood takes you on a nostalgic trip to the 1980s, unraveling the lives of students at an agricultural high school in Chungcheong Province. Jang Byung Tae, a small and seemingly powerless kid, decides to change his luck by switching to Buyeo Agricultural High School. The top-notch cast, led by Jang Byung Tae, delivers performances that hit you right in the feels. The drama unfolds with unexpected turns, and a pivotal incident becomes a game-changer for our protagonist. For me, Boyhood is like a comfy blanket, weaving a narrative that feels familiar and comforting. The cast's stellar performances and engaging cameos add depth to the storyline. While I might have imagined a different ending, the finale, albeit a tad rushed, was still well-executed and made sense. Boyhood is a heartwarming journey that resonates with anyone who appreciates relatable stories and a bit of '80s flair.

Well...

I rated season 1 a 10 and this would be 9.

So here, while Sweet Home Season 2 maintains the intense horror and suspense elements that made Season 1 a hit, some viewers including me might find that the sequel falls slightly short of the original. Season 1 introduced us to the terrifying world inside Green Home Apartments, creating a unique atmosphere and establishing a strong connection with the characters. In Season 2, the shift to the outside world and the introduction of new characters may be seen by some as a departure from what made the first season so captivating. While Season 2 has its own merits, including increased action and deeper character exploration, those who were enamored with the claustrophobic and intense setting of Season 1 might find themselves longing for the initial thrill that hooked them into the series. Actually, it ultimately comes down to personal preferences, and while Season 2 is undeniably gripping, some may argue that Season 1 holds a special place in their hearts.

Still recommendable and I'll rewatch the two seasons until s3 comes out and it should better be as great as the first season.

So far the most wholesome series this year

My School President is essentially a live evidence that even young romance can be magically mundane. The fact that this show has a heart is what I admire about it the most. Though we look for angsty stories, we always return to storylines that make us laugh, characters that take our breath away and make us swoon, and songs that fill us up with pulsations after pulsations of joy. This is because it expresses emotions so vividly and delivers humor immaculately.

Without the necessity for kisses that most BLs display, MSP provides us all the wonderful emotions, but instead shows us the puppy love of two high school boys becoming in love through Tinn secretly assisting Gun to both of them finding comfort with one another and maturing. And the harmonious bond they share serves as a benchmark for relationships. Understanding and communication.

From the story, acting, and music, it was beautifully well done. Especially, fourth, bro is going places for sure.

Oh the songs are all bops!

A hundred percent recommendable. Even myself back then, promised not to watch anymore high school theme and yet here I am. <3

If Im gonna say I didn't enjoy it a little, Id be lying.

I somehow like the first half ish of the show but the rest is a mess.
Badly written and not well executed story.
Also badly written characters.
Typical k drama story line pattern.
Average drama. it's watchable, nothing else.

In a good note, I love the osts and the cast.
Sad to see them in a roles like this. It is like witnessing a shining beacons on the top of a stagnant river.

Recommendable to watch it if you knew and like the cast but if not, its good to pick another show.
