I hope it's not a romcom but more like a melodrama first love trope.

I really don't want to discourage you from watching this version because it's actually quite good! but i don'y feel like i'm watching nevertheless now. Like the last two episodes suddenly showed a different story. overall, it's quite good. i might change the rating after the finale

The past 2 episodes were really painful to watch :( but the story deviated from the leads. we are getting background stories

Song Kang portrayed a very superficial toxic ML imo. more like a kid. no hate or anything to song kang fans.

As someone who also kinda liked the korean version, this one hits differently.
Some parts in the og were cringe but here i feel like the leads have a great chemistry but are very lost and confused. I think Miu really loves Ren but Ren is just being the adult who is fed up with official relationships but there is nothing toxic about him yet...
