what do you mean conservative? as in i can't watch it and ask in advance to avoid it? nope!LOL
i like BLs for their NC scenes actually. because unlike other genres, BLs tend to be more free. also, based on my experience, if a BL drama has good NC scenes, it is more likely that leads have a good chemistry( not always true though)

i don't know really. i didn't feel any openness in it lol maybe i just watched to many dramas and i'm used to super sad endings but how people perceive two lovers getting back together, holding hands, and running together an open ending is another story....
