This drama is more realistic to be true. There are people like me who have seen Firsthand how relationships like these actually exist. Not all dramas should be fake fantasy bubbly romance. The ML is a red flag in some people’s eyes but the FL is also so flawed that agrees to be in the relationship. Yet, it’s not as toxic as it sounds. There is love. They are loving each other too but with their flawed characters. However, this is how it is in the real world too.

Noooo I’m watching the Youku version. I don’t think they changed the sub on Netflix either. Like Luke keeps saying feelings of love while clearly he says “like” not love but at the same time it seems like the context of liking in China is equivalent to love the way we see it.

Some are crazy I know. But here it’s been ok imo. People have very different takes on the leads and it’s interesting

You’re absolutely right but among those who comment, some are actually trolls or haters of the actor/actress. I have seen it many times. When a drama is doing good, they try to drag it down. They like to spread negativity for a drama and then the fans start defending.

I’m on ep 10 trying to save the episodes 😂 but while watching ep 9, I figured something. The translations are sometimes off. Like on ep 9, Luan Nian tells SZT that he knows she likes him and she controls the feeling of love. I don’t know if this is deliberate but he just clearly said that she is controlling the feelings but the sub said she likes him. Also, I had a hard time with the name of their relationship ( yes exclusively I wanted to know what they were from the beginning) and on ep 9, it’s clear that he said they are starting a FWB relationship but this was never a FWB relationship for ZST. She liked him from the beginning. LN on the other hand, only knows one type of relationship and that is FWB. But the way he treats her from jealousy to taking care so much isn’t like a FWB relationship. Also, can someone in a purely sexual relationship show affection? Thats where I think LN is digging his own grave😂

Omg the lyrics are like the ML’s thoughts of the FL. Soooo good. The singer keeps saying wo de ta( her) so cute.
