The dad cheated on LXX's mom with JY's mom. Also, JY was born earlier than LXX which is another reason why JY is jealous since LXX gets to live like a legitimate son whereas JY can't even live with his own dad.

I definitely feel like the director or screen writers took inspiration from The First Frost or Hidden Love with they back and forth of past and future.

I think they had the SML become the neighbor because they aren't focusing the drama on their school days compared to the novel. In the novel they were just top 1 and 2 students that would study together and the SML had feelings for the FL.

There was an arcade scene in the episode 6 preview! Although I don't think it will have the same meaning as it did in the novel.

I would definitely recommend you read the novel then! I have a feeling that the drama is not going to be able to capture every complex detail from the novel since it is a 29 episode adaption. If you have the time then the novel is definitely a must read!

In the novel, the parents do not stay together. Hopefully the drama keeps this part in because it was quite an important scene for the way ZW and LXX's relationship turns out.

It's good but if you are the type to watch in one go then I would recommend picking it up later.

They both have their own set of parents. They technically can't be considered step siblings either since ZW's mom and LXX's dad are only dating.

If the family ties of the novel are accurately adapted to the drama then no, it's not incest. Based on the novel, ZW's mother abandons her to find herself sugar daddies and LXX's dad is one of them. In the novel, at least, the two parents are not married which doesn't make them step siblings.

While I understand how you thought its a love at first sight kind of drama it really isn't. They met in FL's 18th life and she was not in love with him but more like an older sister to him. The ML was just like a child who has a lot of adoration for an "older sister" and thinks he's in love with her.

I agree! Chen Zhe Yuan just doesn't give me the same vibes as DJX from the novel. I also do wish to see him prove me wrong tho and give the same vibe as him from the novel ^^

I agree! It was so obvious that he was a self centered person from the beginning. When she was trying to talk to him about her student, he didn’t even try to listen and just cut her off by talking abt the soccer game.

I hope they do all the seasons and go from spring to winter since it seems like they're going to do spring this time. Although summer came first in the Webtoon, Hamin's flower was mainly a flashback story leading up to his *decision* which means it came before summer time wise. Present day in the season was after Bomi's flower but Hamin's *decision* and main story happened before summer. Or maybe they will show us both summer and spring this time ^^.

Edit: Still sad about the fact that there is no cute height different between Bomi and Jinyoung tho ;(
