I am revisiting I Am Nobody because I lost steam around Episode 16 of that drama, and I remember liking HMH in…
I think he can adapt to any genre he plays, to the specific role he plays. He understands each roles to the deepest level. Like he said in the live at one point, his first take was too emotional for a general, so he asked for another shot. I loved him in I Am Nobody too. Young Babylon was great too where his role was just a real human being.
yes. Too bad for them, it is a great dramaThe romance is certainly present, their love story is well written and…
I agree. Even though there are no kissing scenes, we do have strong romance in the drama. And I personally think that because we don't have kissing scenes, we get to see the couple's feelings/yearning through their expressions glances and actions. They have strong chemistry. Just like when you are vision impaired your other senses are heightened. Even with fangs of fortune, despite there being very little physical intimacy, I felt very strong chemistry and strong relationship between Zhu Yan and Wen Xiao.
I never thought HMH could impress me more than he already has with his acting, but each episode in this drama makes me go 'damn that was so good' at his acting, the way he makes us feel the emotions of the character even without any words. 2ML also did great, especially towards the last part in episode 18.
Episode 4: In the middle of all the chaos, when the emperor asked Qi Wang "are you willing to stand with Xiao Wuyi, through fortune and misfortune, and share life and death", I suddenly thought, isn't that a marriage vow? π
It's going to cost me twice the time for each episode, once to enjoy the amazing Xiao Wuyi and cinematography, and second to read subtitles and understand the story!
Just praying for all good karama to get him out of this mess without affecting his health! May he get far far in Singer. I seriously do not feel like watching this mess of a drama ever.
