It was a powerful death and a beautifully shot scene. Yet I believe LLJ was wrong. In fact her mindset was toxic…
I agree. And I don't think Li Mao followed the exact path she expected. He seemed to genuinely care for Wuyi, the way he helped Wuyi get treated, make sure he recovers well, and keep in touch with Wuyi's family about his progress.
Wow, that was a wild ride! A great script that didn't waste a single second of the audience's time. A great cast and production! Thank you everyone! I only hope I will get to see a masterpiece like this at least once a year. Hou Minghao, the bar is raised, looking forward to great works like this from you in the future too! Best of luck for your future Ai Mi!
I didn't have a single complaint until the very last episode, but "I wear a mask (with eyes and mouth exposed, very obvious) so you can't recognise" me trope was just....🥴
What was that look with Limao's eunuch? And before putting the sword to his neck, Wuyi seems to signal something. Any chance he and Wuyi are putting up an act to capture Northern Li spies? Or am I imagining things?
