To be honest, when I hate something, I hate it with passion, so I'll try to remain as objective in this review as possible, but God was this one of the worst dramas I have ever seen. And I don't mean it-was-fun-but-ultimately-stupid bad, I mean BAD bad. Let's look at some of the criterias first.

First, the premise. It's not horribly exciting, the office romance is definitely something we've all seen before, and going into the drama, I didn't particularly expect anything other than a romance laced law drama. (But then again, I only watched this show for Park Eun Bin.) But after the first episode, I was intrigued, I thought, maybe this will turn out to be something more. After all, we've all seen simple stories turned into epic dramas.

But the story gets REALLY horrible in a very short amount of time. Though it is apparent, that the drama itself was thought out from beginning to end, the little references reveal the plot twist very early on, and leave the viewer thinking "but why is this happening, how is this a thing?" and unfortunately, this question doesn't really get answered, or very poorly. I couldn't count how many unnecessarily dramatic moments are in this drama, and watching it I kept thinking "why doesn't this character do something/anything" pretty much every moment. The plot twist itself pretty much discredits everything that happens in the entire drama. It wouldn't if the charaters would have growth, but they really actually don't. Which leads me to the characters.

As I mentioned, I started watching this drama for Park Eun Bin, and she brings a great performance (of course, within the boundaries of a horribly directed and written drama), but her character is introduced, and the characteristics given to her in the first few episodes are entirely disregarded later. She becomes flat, plot driven, and i can count the amount of things I know about her that aren't related to the plot on one hand.

Out of the two main characters, Sa Eui Hyun is definitely the one I disliked more. His character is the same at the beginning in the drama as the end, and he does nothing throughout the episodes other than spill bareably cringy wisdom, and operates as the Perfect Human Being. The worst thing is, at least a handful of things happen to him throughout the story that should have at least a SMALL effect on his life/his character/behavior, but literally, none of them do. He head on faces each situation like the perfect judge that he is. After a while, I thought, why is he even in this drama. But then I remembered: the romance.

God, the romance. It's not there. They try, and fail magnificently to make them seem like they are close, the few "human" conversations that they have, that isn't related to work (and I assure you, the work related conversations are dry as hell), are horribly simple, lead nowhere, we get to know nothing of their interests, their pasts. They joke around, sure, but to me it doesn't seem like these characters do anything other than work and then go home, spend some time with their families, and work again. The love triangle is pretty much useless, horribly boring, and awful to watch.

The side characters are pretty much non existent, their storylines are going nowhere, they do not weave into the main storyline, some of them aren't even finished. Some of the side characters are just there. Since this review needs to be completely spoiler free, I will not mention any specific example, but God, there is a lot of them. Almost all of them.

I really, really, really don't recommend this drama to anyone at all, because the first few episodes will not reveal these flaws: character growth is something revealed over the course of the entirity of a drama, and so is the lack thereof; the stories not going anywhere; the main storyline being spit on by the characters themselves every few episodes towards the second half; all of these things reveal themselves on the long run, and if you start, you will be left with pretty much nothing, but disappointment. Not to mention that the writing is out of this world cringy. If you are looking for cheap entertainment, watch literally anything else. This drama isn't it.
