for me it was one of the best dramas that came out in 2023, and i have only 3 favorits in 2023.

Everything about this drama is amazing.
from the moment i started this drama, almost every episode left me with tears, every episode gave me butterflys, i was really invested in the story, so much that i couldn't concetrate on anything else from the moment i started it.
every charecter took me for a journey on their part of the story, immersing me with all of their emoitions.
I honestly rate this as one of the best dramas that came out this year from GMMTV and in general this past year.
JimmySea did amazing portraying Day and Mhok.
Day's charecter left me in tears and pain, it was hard seeing a person who used to smile, laugh and be joyful, gradually loose the
little hope he had in his heart, and that's when Mhok came into the picture and started changing everything.
Suddenly the face of day who darkened from sadness, biterness and hopelesness started to light up beacause of Mhok, who saw him without any difference in comparison to other people, Mhok who didn't treat him any different just because of his
disabilty compare to other people including his family.
JimmySea portrayd the charecters with so much passion.

I actually relate to Day's charecter in some ways, i also had something hapening to me, and duo to that i started locking myself in my room without going out, at the end i locked myself in my room for two whole years, locking myself from the world, my friends, my family, it was just me and me alone, in my little drak room loosing every sinlge bit of hope and will to
live in my life.
I didn't have a mhok to help me back into life, but eventualy maneged to help myself, after reading a letter my mom wrote me, more like a short book actually, where she helped me see what and who i have next to me, and reminded me who i was and why it is importants for me to fight for myself, and eventually - even though it took 4 more years i gradually alowed people who cared about me back into my life and living again from zero.

so seeing mhok viewing day as more then just a person with disabilty realy warmed my heart.

one thing that really cought me off in the reviews of other poeple is how they kept calling Day anoying, and how they kept saying his charecter ruind their watching experiance.
people who havn't been there, won't understand how painfull it feels to loose an important part of yourself, and how painful it is to feel and understand that people sudenly see you differently, because you have one thing that is different about you.
like, it's allredy painful enough to loose his vision, a main sense, he didnt need people to treat him like an helpless person who
constantly needs help or neded to be watched.
when a person decids to give up everything but can't "go away" they decide to stop their life in some kind of way, because it's too painful to cope with the pain that is slowly eating your heart.
when Day stayed in his house, he locked himself in his room, and he wouldn't even go out to the living room to eat with his family the only few times they were actually there.
his mom, the only person whom he talked to was also berely there, instead of being there with her son, she was out working.
he completly cut ties with his friends and even his comunication with his mom became very little.
HE LOST ALL HOPE, so even to the doctor he was berely listening, he chose to not relay or believe in and on anyone.
And when Day went out or met new poeple, he would put on a "mask", the mask was him acting "confident" and "snobbish" by
being annoying, it was in order to protect himself.
I know, it is a very weird way to cope with pain and protect yourself but some people are like that, there more then one way to do so, but that was Day's way.
he didnt want a care taker, because he didnt want to feel more misarble than what people had already made him feel, by making him hold up the title DISABLED.
he was sitting in a bubble of complete darkness,
and that why Mhok's presence made his wrold shake,
because he broke every boundary that Day had set,
and that was allso the reason why he fell for him eventually,
bacause again, Mhok viewd him just as "Day", with no titels or exceptions,
he burst into Day's life like hot lava, no worning, and that was a good thing,
because we saw how eventualy Day got out of his room, started moving around his house, eating at the dinner table with mhok and his family, going out to the city with Mhok, even taking a trip out of the city for his friend's wedding, reconecting with his friends, showing signs of life and will to recover, he started being himself again.

so i hope now you'll get why his charecter was written that way, and if not, you did not understand the massege of the drama.

another thing that cought me off was people saying the ending was predictaable, anoyying and boring.
the ending was predictable from the begining of the drama for me, but it did not stop me from loving and enjoying this drama because i didn't kept focusing on it, i focused on Day and Mhok, their life, their relationship, and the beautifull story that was being woven before me.
people complaining about Day getting his sight back, i honestly don't get why, i mean it was never somthing that was given up on, it was always there, it takes time to find the right donor but Day and his family didnt give that hope up.
It took him lots of power and time to gather himself back together with Mhok's help,
and it took him even more power to gather himself back togethr after the failing donation and Mhok's "betreyal",
so if he does get that chance, why wouldn't he choose that?
he wants, wishes and longs to see the faces of his loved ones,
and making that decision is not easy because the surgery can damege the nerve that conects your eyes and let you see even more than it is already, so it's not an easy decision, but he longed for this and had gotten the chance to so he did.
Him getting his sight back does not make his development meaningless in anyway, because he understood the meaning of hope for himself, and for the people he loved, and that is literally one of the most powerfull masseges Last Twighlight gave us.

stop complaining about things without understanding them, a sentimental, serious drama like this does not fit you all, go watch
a comical drama.

Their story and their love story was beautifuly told, i was filled with so many emoitions seeing them together.
what happened in episode 11 was nesacery, it helped them grow up and understand their life and their choices in life in a better way, alowing them to meet again, this time eye to eye, in the finle episode.

of course we can't forget our side chrecters that gave the story
more deapth, tears and butterflys.

It's defenetly a rewatch for me, the story, the acting, the charecters, the cinematography and the osts, everything about this drama took me on a journey that even made me visit my past.
A MUST WATCH!
Thank you P'Aof, the production team, and the actors, for taking me on a journy with this amazing drama.
