Ok I take it back, episode 7 and things are heating up fast. I was wrong about this show uno But I always feel…
I loved he drama when I watched it. And I was also very unhappy with how he did not get the girl. Later I found a comment of someone on soompi forum, which made my heart feel at ease. And now I think that the ending is very fitting. Unfortunately I can't give the credit to the user who wrote this, since soompi shut down their forum, but I liked it so much that I saved it, so I would like to share it here:
Mo Hyun was consistent to the end. She has a very "romantic" view of the man she's in love with... she's never really been able to "see" and accept his ruthless side. This is a man who used her to get to her father. When he tells her he's sorry, what he's sorry about is that she got hurt in the process, he was really hoping that she would be happy with BC. I think PJ was telling her the truth back when she first found out that he was the man who arranged her marriage to BC. He's not "in love" with her. PJ tells the truth whenever possible, but especially when he's talking to BC or MH, He made his choice, love or justice, and he chose justice. He's fine with that and he owns it. I love it when she says something about how thankful she is that he won't come any closer to her because he respects her too much... but that's she afraid what would happen if he did.....so he takes that step forward and tempts her, and she resists the temptation. That's my man! LOL.
It must have been refreshing for PJ to go jail for something he actually did this time. He actually doesn't serve three years, it was more like maybe three months and year probation, because there's still snow on the ground when he walks out of jail . Remember he's a lawyer. I'm sure he cut a deal for the help he gave in making the corruption case possible, plus he wasn't above using dirt he had on other people in the justice system. You can tell because when MH asks PJ to try out for the CEO position, she's only been in charge for two years.
So it took about 22 yrs, but, at 37 yrs old, Kang PIl Joo is finally free to become Ahn Eun Cheon once more. If Kang Pil Joo is Batman, Ahn Eun Cheon is Bruce Wayne. For those of you who think he and Mo Hyun will get together, think again. Once he gets out of prison, if there's contact between them, it's either by accident, or she contacts him. When he applies for the Chairman position, I think he does it under his real name, because she's surprised to see him walking out. He's willing to have a business relationship, but that's all. Think about it. That part of his life is done, and he doesn't want to hurt BC. He slept with the man's mother, he's not going to go after his ex-wife too. Plus they aren't right for each other and he knows it. If PJ is like Batman, MH is like Rachel Dawes, and what he needs is a Selina Kyle! It's time for Eun Cheon to find his "Catwoman".
The symbolism in the last scene where he walks out from his interview is really pretty great.... The sky's the limit for Eun Cheon! His future is clear and bright no matter what happens when it comes to Cheong A!
'Disgusting' ?? Excuse me? Im so offended. All because of people like you, the directors and the scriptwriters…
You cross the line by implying that disliking a novel means that I ācould not appreciateā the work or am ātoo sensitive", same goes for "people like you". Firstly, people engage with fiction differently. Secondly, I never personally attacked you, but you did attack me. I have nothing more to say to you.

Well, it is indeed my opinion and I indeed found it disgusting. Up to this day I am trying to forget many disturbing details of this "beautifully" written novel. I've read it as I was told that it was the best in its genre. There are just a few books I regret reading and this is one of them. And if you find it offending, learn to separate critisism of a work of fiction from critisism of yourself
Unlike many here, I actually hope that the drama will have nothing common with the novel. It was pretty disgusting to be honest. So with some whitewashing they actually can make it watchable
I love that i find out this is a prequel in episode 39 š
There were hints before. Like MeiShan Jun is a huge hint by himself. He is only 18 is his shown and in A Moment but Forever he is hundreds of years old. Also the stairs to heaven are still broken and in AMBF they appeared at the end
For those wondering why Yuan Zhong from ''A Moment but Forever'' and Fu Jiu Yun from ''Love of Thousand Years''…
A moment but forever is a sequel. So here Yuang Zhong gave that seed to the sect master so they can grow it. They did not misuse it, he hoped that they will do what they did. In a moment but forever he wanted to organize Armageddon. And he was looking for a goddess because there was one that helped him when he was still a little Fox
same. i disliked her in the beginning, but towards the end i kind of started to like her. it is funny because it seems to be the other way around for most of the watchers. she just used any opportunity given. it is not like she gave no choice
