This series is the most enjoyable GL series I’ve watched this year. Maybe it’s because it’s fantasy? I’ve watched Ewb, heart Code, 4Elements, and LBD, but this series is still at the top of my list.
It honestly saddens me to see how much hate this series is receiving. I can’t just turn off my social media, especially X, because I’m joining the HT party. I know they deserve the support.
Well, I know it’s not the best-written script, and I can’t deny that I’ve noticed a lot of plot holes. But overall, they don’t affect me that much because I feel so connected to the series. The actresses really make the audience feel connected to the story and the characters.
It’s just that some of the backlash against this series is so hard to understand. Coz the people who are saying this series is weird is the same people who want vampire × human and mermaid × human.😭 and i hate when they are quoting a bedscene and making fun of it goshhh honestly im not posting any of that scenes. Sorry for posting again like this coz currently you people is my safe place now
I applaud them for this bold move even tho I can't stop crying 😭
Well yes, but its so hard to swallow that scene i didnt even saw the dialogue😭yeah we need theraphy first before watching moonshadow😭😭 i also love Us and it gives me withdrawal last year that after watching it i stop watching any gl then luckily i found queendom and runaway.
i didn't expect anything deep from this after LBD but that explanation as to how Gen knew Irene's face took me…
its so lazy coz why they didnt gave Irene much impacful backstory??? like she always hinting like Gen changed her life then we just gonna have that tiny bump 😭
I applaud them for this bold move even tho I can't stop crying 😭
Yeah, I must say this is gonna be my top doomed ending. Yeah, it’s realistic, but fck, why did they have to put it right in our faces like we already know it’s gonna happen in the future?! Butttt aaaaaa, I’m crashing out on X hahaha 😭 I cant even watch moonshadow aaaaa
There’s always this underwhelming feeling when it comes to ending , i felt it too on LBD. Idk, it feels kinda flat, or maybe I just had too many expectations. I dunno 😭 .
Well, it's probably going to be GenAi in the end. I just want to know Irene's backstory. Honestly, I'm kind of satisfied with what happened. Even though it's kind of doomed, I think it was executed really well, especially with only two episodes remaining.
I honestly can't imagine any other actresses who would fit GenAi as perfectly as they do. I'm so close to stanning MyChan, gosh. 😭
I loved reading about your AI girl multiverse! hahahabut I got a bit confused, why do you speak for Irene as if…
Oohhh it seems like she's somehow a fully developed Ai. The way she has known Gen for such a long time is suspicious. No human would retain memories from the past—except Rann, who's a time traveler, or a robot that can preserve data over time. This theory only works if my theory that Irene is from the first timeline is true. If not, then I'd have to say Irene is human. But then how do you explain why Gen dreamed of Irene's face if nothing happened in the first timeline. If Irene is human, why does she seem to know Gen so well? Have they met before? Or is there some backstory where Gen helped Irene? Huh... that'll be kind of underwhelming if that's the explanation. 😭 I just hope they wrap everything up well. I'm scared this series will end up like LBD, where the ending felt rushed. 😭 Okay lemme add, I came up with another theory. Maybe Irene is actually human, but the ring is the key to everything. Maybe it stores data from the previous timeline, and she's just accessing those memories through the ring. That would explain why she seems to know Gen so well without actually being a robot.
My crazy theory. 🤖 (I know it's probably not going to happen, but this is the explanation that makes the most sense to me. It's quite long, so bear with me. 😌) - (Connected to LBD): What if Irene was originally human in the 1st timeline? In the 1st timeline, Gen met Irene but this Irene isn't a robot. She's the minister's daughter, and she's also a scientist. At some point, human Irene dies. To replace her, they create robot Irene using the memories and data of the original daughter. Then the 2nd timeline begins. Robot Irene carries over all the memories and data from the 1st timeline which is on the ring. The biggest plot hole in this theory is the year Present day Ai was created in 2029, but the 1st timeline ends in April 2026, when Rann dies. So... how do we explain that? Irene robot still not created( if its true that this Irene was a robot from past). The only explanation I can think of it is that human Irene actually created Ai much earlier, while she was still alive Maybe she started the project because of her strict father, or as a way to escape his control. If that's the case, then AI would already exist before the 1st timeline ended. That's why I suspect the robot Irene is actually from the 1st timeline. The amount of knowledge she has about Gen is questionable, especially when Gen only remembers Irene as someone from a dream. My theory is that, in the 1st timeline, Gen and the human Irene were coworkers. At that time, Gen was making sketch designs for robots, while Irene was developing robots. Maybe the fake ID wasn't actually fake in the 1st timeline—perhaps the human Irene's real name was actually Irish. 😂 Gen and Irish then created an AI together, and Gen named it Ai *well history repeats itself🤭 As humans who went through Rann's time loop, people who were alive in the previous timeline only experience fragments of their past memories as dreams. This is actually what I think Love Beyond Dreams lacked. They focused so much on the action that they didn't fully take advantage of the time-travel plot device. That's why, for me, the ending was a bit underwhelming. Still, it was a great ride. Anyway, back to AI Girl. Since the robot can permanently store its data, maybe Rann's time travel reset the human timeline, but the robot's memories remained intact. So why didn't the human Irene and Gen meet in the present timeline? Maybe the human Irene intentionally changed her fate to avoid meeting Gen. I don't know... maybe her father had something to do with it. Some evidence that makes me think robot Irene is carrying memories from the previous timeline: When Irene said, "It's just that someone changed my perspective," I immediately thought she was referring to the human Irene. Maybe the human Irene used to be a cold, emotionally distant scientist before she met Gen. The reason I think Irene and Ai are essentially the same person—but from different timelines—is because of the way Irene talks to Gen. In Episode 5, when Gen says "Ai," Irene simply replies, "Kha." 😂 The way she says it sounds exactly like Ai, almost as if she's heard that name countless times before and instinctively responds to it. Theory for remaining eps. Irene could be the one who messaged the scientist and sent them her location to distract them while Gen and ai escaped. Irene may have transferred her memories to AI, possibly through the ring. all collective memories of irene and irish is there. That's why we saw that Ai is more like a human when she woke up. I think Irene sacrifices herself. You can see how she always looks sad, almost like she already knows she's never going to end up with Gen. 😭 When the scientists reset Irene's data, I think the ring could act as a trigger that restores her memories. That would allow AI to remember who she really is and finally explain everything to Gen. As for why Rann is there... maybe Irene contacted her? Or maybe Gen was the one who called Rann? Imagine how heartbreaking it would be if Gen realized she had been treating Irene so badly, not knowing that Irene was actually Ai from the previous timeline all along. 🥲 thats all for my lil crazy theory its like i created Ai girl multiverse😂😂
One would think like Blade Runner and whole cyberpunk genre doesn't exist in books, movies and arts... Falling…
I respect it if the series isn't their cup of tea, just don't watch it. But calling the people who enjoy it "weirdos" is different from criticizing the show itself. It's honestly so draining seeing the same narrative over and over: "People actually watch this weird series?"
Yeah i genuinely enjoy this series, especially because of how Chanya acts. She's such a cutie patootie, but when she switches to Irene, she becomes so dominant. 😅 Her range is amazing. The chemistry between them is so damn good. I really hope Memindy creates another series for them.
the amount of hate on X about this series😭. I can't even talk much there coz they will label you as weird af.
Hahaha, the fact that I love serial killer genres too... I guess I'm a threat to society. 😂 But yeah, it really makes my blood boil when ppl say, Who the tf watches this weird series? They must have some kinky fantasy. Like... man, never in my life have I wanted to get a robot and make her my girlfriend. I'm just here coz its so interesting and not a ceo x poor troupe😭. But hey, if there's a minority of people who are actually into that, let them be. If it's not hurting anyone, why not? Anyway, about Irene... I'm probably gonna twt a long-ass theory on X later. I already have one in mind, but I know it'll probably never happen because I did the same thing with Love Beyond Dreams, and it only ended up making me disappointed with the ending
I must say, it's one of the best series this year. I was so seated when it aired, and I was one of those people on X coming up with theories after every episode—I was literally cracking my brain trying to piece everything together.
But I'm kinda disappointed with the ending. I don't know... it felt like the climax was so high, then the ending just turned into a flat line. Maybe I expected too much, I don't know.
I also wish they had done more with the time travel aspect. They planted so many clues that got the audience hooked, but in the end, most of them didn't really mean anything. I had such high expectations for the diary, the red string, and all those little details that seemed like they would play a much bigger role.
the amount of hate on X about this series😭. I can't even talk much there coz they will label you as weird af.
They always criticize that one small bed scene, but they don't know the journey that led up to it—how Gen slowly built trust in AI, how she hesitated the first time she touched AI, and how AI felt more human than humans themselves.
The way this story was written is so beautiful. Oh, the only thing that gave me an ick was that Gen was being monitored in the lab the whole time, my relief when that scene not monitored, oh gosh. That's the main issue for me.
Oh, I found my people who love this series. I can't really talk much about this series on social media, especially on X. The number of people calling those who watch it "weird" is honestly disappointing, well its their opinion but aaaaaa. As someone who loves fantasy series, I can separate fiction from reality. I understand the concern that the robot is seen as something like a sex toy, but that's not how the story telling of the series. Gen is an independent person who's just trying to survive on her own. She doesn't ask anyone for help because she doesn't want to be a burden. Meeting Ai saved her life and gave her hope again. She treats Ai as a person—someone she can rely on when she needs it the most.
As for the bed scene, I honestly didn't overthink it. I just rewired my brain a little. 😂 Besides, MyChan pulled it off so beautifully that it never felt awkward.
The chemistry between MyChan in this series is amazing. I really hope they'll get another series that the general audience can easily embrace. I've watched a lot of TGL, and I can confidently say that MyChan's acting is top-notch. They absolutely deserve a second series. Note: I love this series, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna buy a robot.
