SHORT, LIGHT, CUTE, ROM-COM DRAMA
If you want a short, light, cute, rom-com drama with a little bit of mystery and a little bit of lessons in life, you should watch this. At first, Cha Eun Woo is so irresistable but later part of the drama, you would fall for Ji Hoon (Park Solomon). However, Cha Eun Woo did not have much of screentime here in which it did not have justification to his character. For the acting, as expected from a former child actress, Hyang Gi, she pulled off her character so well. Her chemistry with Solomon is really good and cute. Solomon is not as good as Hyang Gi but he portrayed his cold, perfect, and sweet character well enough to give the viewers a feeling of butterflies in the stomach. Overall, the drama gives you a light and warm feeling. Was this review helpful to you?

PERFECT BALANCE OF COMEDY, ROMANCE, AND DRAMA
Usually I dislike annoying, foolish, or weak female lead character however, this drama is different. If you watch the whole drama series and undertand it, it is not the female lead character's fault on why she is foolish in love or with her own feelings. That is why I love the plot of this drama. I love the perfect balance of it's comedy, romance, and drama. I also love how the drama not only focuses on the lead's love story but also other aspects in life like family, friendship, and leadership. In which, that kind of stories is what I always look for in a drama. I also love how their love survived all those trials. I love the drama's CGI especially in the war scene. It looks like an expensive movie. Their costumes are all gorgeous. Their make-up are on point. Last but not the least, Deng Lun and Yan Zi's chemistry is superb. I hope they will team up in another drama. Plus, Deng Lun is freaking handsome. The feeling I got after watching Reply 1988 is the same with this drama. It's hard to get over with Ashes of Love huhu. I have not yet found a drama that could continue my satisfaction with Ashes of Love.
