Is Anna really a victim, though? While I don't deny that it's not wrong to be driven and have a goal for yourself, but when it's at the expense of the ones who love you then that's just asking for retribution. She acts without thinking, which is seen in a flashback episode, and then when things go badly for her she questions what she did wrong - she thinks she's faultless, but she's not. She's selfish. Of course she's not entirely at fault, and I agree that her long-term boyfriend could've played it out better (not wanting to distract her from her dream is a big plus, and having that bitchy friend who reports everything to her didn't help), yet the lengths she goes to in later episodes only goes to show she only cares about herself.
