If I didn’t have the historical context I really would’ve been very confused by the translation

Just to give one example, viu calls deok ro’s sister Queen Wonbin… 🤦🏻‍♀️ Idk they could just call her consort won? It’s not like this is the first korean drama with concubines so idk why they are so confused with the titles, especially for a paid subscription

I have to confess, viu’s subtitles for this drama is giving me a headache. I usually have no complaints but it’s so messy for a paid subscription. Sometimes it’s weird sentence structure or grammar, which is fine since it’s subbed within a few hours after the release. but there are also blatant misleading translations (esp w the names). 😪

Same I actually want it to be like this. Then he’ll realise there were so many things she did for him while she was alive, whether consciously or subconsciously

True, I doubt they have the time for this haha. If this were a 50ep drama then maybe.
