I think Iām actually physically unable to watch romcoms. Iām sick of the tropes. Why are these ppl falling on top of each other. What kind of centre of gravity do they have?? Or not have?? Iām done watching rom coms.
It was ok⦠interesting world building and theme. this season is just the background stories of the main crew, so there isnāt really much āmainā plot (except for recruitment of the crew I guess??). Itās the first season and there arenāt many eps so it felt like a set up for a longer multi-season epic series I guess? And IDK WHY BUT FOR SOME REASON I WAS SHOCKED TO FIND OUT THAT LUFFY HAD SUPER POWERS??šš I really shouldāve expected that hahah
I liked it and cried, but honestly I wish this was more sad and tragic haha⦠it has really beautiful cinematography, i loved the faded and muted sunshine shots
Slow start but super interesting second half. The show really puts you in the shoes of the main character and at no point did I have āgodās perspectiveā - I could never predict what was going to happen. I liked that the serial killer wasnāt just some crazy corrupted psycho. At its core itās a drama about social injustice that never felt too preachy, or at least till ep 14 it was. While I liked the ending, the last two eps felt rushed and not fleshed out properly. The motives of the criminals were not fully explained like they were in earlier episodes. Overall a decent police drama. Bonus points because the killer wasnāt just some psycho.
Iām usually not a big fan of police drama and this one has incompetent and arrogant police as the focal team…
At ep 12 now and I can say the second half is so much better. When things start to unravel it really gets super interesting. And it turns out that everything is connected. Iām glad I sat through the first half š excited to find out more cos the plot is just getting THICKER AND THICKER. and I can see that the main point of the plot truly is the social injustice that normal people are facing
Dropping at ep 7. Itās not bad but itās not for me. I donāt usually like dramas that feature a different case each episode, and this was the main format of the drama. Although I know there is an overarching main plot that glues the episodes together, since usually the cases brought up in each episode always ties back to the issues that the main characters face in their lives, i donāt have that much patience to continue watching. Also it does get quite grim since itās about a literal mental hospital and mental health. (And frankly I havenāt even got to the episode on the MCās own trauma yet). Although itās quite grim, I actually laughed out loud for the first time in while watching the scene with the psychiatrist and his haemorrhoid doctor .šš also FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE I ACTUALLY FELT THE SML SYNDROME .šš jang dong yoon plays these āfriendā roles so well I actually wanna be his friend. Heās so cute and precious in all his characters.
Iām usually not a big fan of police drama and this one has incompetent and arrogant police as the focal team in the show so itās really icking me out. I know their talents are gonna show and the teams rapport will build as we go along but for now I realllyyyyy do not like the policemen team š. Also at least up to ep 5, the show has different cases for each ep, which is something I usually donāt prefer as I like a congruent and continuous main plot. I know there is like a main plot gluing the eps together but I really donāt have that much patience haha
she carried most of the investigations how do u conclude that she's dumb. she was basically the brain of the squad,…
Bcos itās 1988 and women just didnāt have a high social standing in the workplace. Thatās why she was just washing dishes before Jan Tae joon came along. Itās not that sheās weak or dumb, she just has to play the part to keep her job
