The horses were not well-trained, and Xu Kai even fell off his horse. JingTian injured herself because of the horses. There are even some clips where we can see the horses trying to move on their own.So the scene were too difficult to shoot.
As a safety measure they finally decided to shoot with fake one.

The story has been significantly shortened, as it was originally intended to be 50 episodes, but due to new regulations, it had to be to 40 episodes. I think that they did a great job, it didn't disturb me.

I think that the budget might seem to be low in some scene because they had to change all of that, the horses, the cut etc.. however there are still magnificent scenes !
I know that this drama could have been much better in some way, but the circumstances changed a lot of what it was supposed to be.

Concerning the ML screentime, i think that this will change later.

i think it's refreshing to see a drama where the fl isn't changing radically because usually after rebirth, fl suddenly changes and have a perfect plan for revenge. However here, she's afraid of loosing her family again and seems to want to settle their security in priority. She's questionning herself a lot, even concerning her fate with the ml..
And honestly ,as for the fl i think that if i was reborn, my priority will be to stay with my family ( even more after seeing them die).
We might have a revenge arc later, but for now, it's more about her enjoying with her family.

I feel sorry for the viewers who came for watch their novel/manhua adaptaions because basing on the comments here the drama doesn't follow the original story. I hope that you will enjoys this drama even though the story it's different.
