The beginning is a little slow and full of comedy (the intrigue isn’t really showed) so many people are dropping even before ep4, because they think that this is going to be like this during the entire show. whereas the plot is getting more serious after ep4 and will become more and more serious. +adding the haters that’s how it’s done.
according to some trailer, the ML will transform into a demon. the FL is possessed by a karma talisman who is supposed to kill all the demon on his way.

Could it be that her mother was betrayed by her lover (nan yan's father) ? Is that why she bears the same mark as Ji Yang, like she has been wronged and punished as him??

Episode 6 is my fav.. Nan Yan is concerned about him yet simultaneously upset. Why can't he clarify what she means to him? And that he wasn't here for the pearl? Her frustration is evident. She's using the fox to get revenge and pretend that he's not special to her, he's like the fox 😂 And him getting jealous while she's mad. They're already into each other ❤️ How she knew that he wasn't him shows how she knows him well and their proximity. Love them !!!
So the FL just allowed the Fox to stay at her place even though he tried to deceive and rob her on more than one…
