i feel you. i'm still sad about the ending until now... not a single one of the 4 characters got the ending they wanted (at least not the way i see it). it did however made sense in term of story wise. i really wish for them to reunite in another drama with a happier ending somehow but i know it would never come true due to the 2 main leads' billing issue. :(

too bad i can't read chinese :( should've learned it in school :(

people always love the underdog and the cinderella love story and that's what happened here. they saw an "ugly" and underprivileged woman trying to survive in a cruel society so they rooted for her. I mean which one of us wouldn't do that? But they totally missed out on the drama story of a whole. They can't see that if the OG YCW remained the same, she wouldn't have lived past her wedding night and the whole story would have to end there. And they also fooled themselves of how "real" and "genuine" the chemistry between the ML and the OG ycw was! oh come'on! what are they talking about? I saw none of that other than a man trying to help his childhood friend and keeping his promise to her. They didn't go through the real grownup hardships that would require to prove their genuine commitments and true love to each other... Well i'm going stop here because I think i'm wasting my time explaining the obvious to some here. Let them drop this drama like they said they would or complain about it all they want. The fact still remains, without the brilliant SZ and the lovely and lively YCW portrayed by JJY, this drama would not be no where near where it is now in term of the popularity and success surpassing most of the big budget dramas these past weeks and the coming few weeks..

you can't be serious right? a lot of the chinese actors and actresses have something done to improve their appearances... of course who doesn't want or desire natural beauty but to expect everyone in the entertainment business to not resort to cosmetic surgery or treatment to look their best is just simply silly. I'm all for people to do what they want to do with their own bodies to look their best!

I disagree. I think she is a decent actress. Does she have room for improvement? Absolutely. But she does NOT have any disability like you mentioned. I watched all of her dramas and with each one of those, I see good improvement in her. Take the last 2 dramas, SAF4 and In Blossom, as a solid evidence of her improvement in every aspects. All she needs right now are good well written scripts, good production teams and she is set.

hate is a strong word, i don't hate the original YCW character at all, i actually enjoyed watching her through out the first 2 episodes but i was ready to move on after SZ showed up lol
however i am super disappointed how the actress who played the original YCW behaved in real life. she first tried to tell people not to start fan wars, yet she "liked" posts that badmouthed JJY and praised her. She lost all my respect after that... girl got no sense of "girl power"
so anyway, i just thought the less i see of her, the better for my mood :)
