i dont even think it had anything to do with censors becaue taiwan has had plenty of cute and enjoyable bl before and since modc. it feels more like it came out of left field for the sole sake of having a sudden tragic ending. coming in i expected a terminal illness or some other kind of ticking clock instead of cheap shock. i think Eternal Yesterday (jbl) or The Sparkle in Your Eye (cbl) were much better executions of this kind of theme

the captain is also becoming my favorite character lol. the most bewildering aspect of this drama is the actors giving it their all even with this terrible script. i think it takes real talent to not laugh during all of this

this is the one opening i never skip not only for the glorious dadadada song but also because it is for some reason different every time and gives away plot details right before they happen. this show is truly unlike any other
- love how episode 7 starts like we're in a music video. i also like how all this in happening in broad daylight as if they dont have jobs. id hate to for these to be the police in my neighborhood
- the temu guns take me out every time (but nothing tops the tiny baby revolver from ep 6)
- the sound team really knows how to keep you on your toes. you would think slaps would use the same terrible slap sound effect theyve been using but no, now it's replaced by an equally terrible punch sound
- in this interrogation scene which is meant to be the dramatic climax between our heroes and the antagonist there is 1 minute of the pervert chief actually trying to get information and 15 minutes of him making them do weird kinky stuff. the more i think about it the more it seems the weird kinky stuff is actually the main plot here and everything else is irrelevant
- i was getting worried we wouldnt get to see the other twink cop this episode because no freaky bdsm session would be complete without him. so im really glad he showed up just in time for them to have a foursome next episode

this is definitely an odd one but overall cute and funny. the actors playing choco and milk did a great job embodying their roles. i was immediately sold on the first episode and loved the style of comedy. somewhere along the way it sort of lost me, really with the introduction of romance. the side couple was pretty cute at least. and i liked how it tried to tackle the theme of grief though it couldve been a bit better executed

i had an entire wall of text written reacting to episodes 1-6 but tragically refreshed the page on accident before i hit post. at this point i realized i put more effort into that than the creators did into this show. all i have to say is that this feels like a porno if all the sex was cut out so youre just left with the paper thin plot and bad acting and eager camerawork. which is to say this is terrible and i love it

this was a cute and funny watch albeit very short. its very light on bl elements its more of a nice bonus. tbh i really only watched for se jin and eui soo

this was my first real historical bl and i think it was a welcome change of pace. admittedly it was a bit hard to keep up with all the empire politics (it didnt help that so many characters are referred to by the same titles) but the plot was engaging throughout. the leads had good chemistry as well and in general i liked the performances. the costuming was also good (besides the super distracting acrylic nails lol). the biggest issue was pacing especially in the last couple episodes. it feels like this easily couldve been 20+ episodes to properly flesh out the story. but overall a good watch

i didnt like s1 at all and wasnt even planning to watch s2 at first but eventually i came around and ended up enjoying it. so i was just poking fun at how drastically my opinion changed haha

my thoughts exactly. i liked in ep 7 when it seemed like xiaofan was finally gaining some independence and confidence but then hes back to sqaure one by the end of episode 8...

this was pretty interesting albeit too short to really tell a convincing story plus the non-ending. but i like the idea of cyberstalking that results in very real reverse stalking. a longer series that leans more into the creepiness could be fun and the actors did well

i really liked this at the start but i ended up struggling to finish it. first few episodes reminded me a lot of old fashioned cupcake, and i liked the framing of the list to develop their relationship as they cross things off each episode. coincidentally where the drama started to lose me was when it abandoned the list halfway through and became more of a slice of life. given the premise youd think the relationship progresses fast but this is quite the slowburn. which i wouldnt mind if things were linear, but the constant back and forth gets a bit exhausting. overall the characters felt very human and i loved particular details like how keishi dresses very stylish because his sisters own a fashion store, but i just wanted a bit more from the romance. both leads are very cute so it's a shame that we didnt get to see more fluffy moments between them

theres been a lot of good kbl coming out lately so im really happy to see the genius minds at seekmedia are here to deliver another Tide of Love caliber trashterpiece! i am so seated

wow what a ride!! this show was the one i was looking forward to the most this year and im so glad it delivered. this really scratched that itch ive had for a good crime drama bl after beyond evil and the devil judge. forever lamenting the fact that this couldnt be a full 16 or 20 episode drama with 1hr episodes but still they managed to keep things very interesting even with the fast pace. i cant get enough of their dynamic like the two-way devotion of it all. both the leads performances are good but ml is really the star of the show, his facial expressions and the way he uses his eyes is just so good. of course it's not perfect (namely the use of generative ai and some confusing editing at times), but overall this was great. i really hope this inspires of wave of more thriller bl because i cant get enough of it

if you can get over some comically terrible nc scenes then this is pretty cute. the actors are perfectly cast and i like how their relationship develops over time. i just cant get over how it completely misses the mark on how the intimacy is directed. they just look so stilted and awkward, though it does get slightly better in the later episodes. i also think a certain conflict was resolved too easily. overall this wasnt terrible but i expected something far bolder a la The Novelist
