I liked the first part but from ep 16 on I was on the edge of my seat.

The part where Qi Men saves Qian Qian. It was so deep. The juxtaposition between the past and present was amazing.

Have you seen ep 23 yet? There is something I would like to know is also in the book.

He allowed hate to take over. I only know from flashbacks that his mother set the fire and he watched her burn to death. His face was burned to hide is identity.

I part of me feels sad for him. He wasn't born this way.

I was afraid to say because I might get attacked😂 I felt that was so deep I will be watching again. I think he hardened his heart after childhood trauma and she makes him feel again. He said it too during the bathtub scene. His character is deep.

I did! I also rewatched the candy eating Marquis overlooking the land as he anticipated getting his "daughter" back.
