I don’t think it will be a sad ending though. The atmosphere of the drama shows it kinda lol
It might not be sad but HE for some means they get back together and for others it means Xu Yan finds her happiness and peace at the end. Perhaps the theme is that happiness does not rely on others but on self. But finding love is beautiful too.
I want them together. People makes mistakes. They both did. He hasn't done anything to makehim not redeemable.
His words were hateful but they had to be for us to enjoy watching him suffer in the next arc. He had to do something for the next arc to be affective but I still feel he likes her. I am not sure how this will end. I want Xu Yan to show she doesn't need anyone for happiness and can depend on herself but why not still have a HE for the romance?

I am on ep 16 now. I paused to tell you I think the family all misses Xu Yan. They are probably not happy with Haoming. I feel the MIL really likes Xu Yan and is upset about the divorce. She doesn't say it, but I can tell. You will see when you watch them have dinner together without Xu Yan and the steamed fish isn't the way Xu Yan does it.
