And the way she says, "Lei Lei." 😂 Not to mention the way she smooths Lei Lei's hair back and gives her that smile then tells her complexion was pale😂 Lusi's times her movements so beautifully. Outstanding performance. I can't stop saying it.

Did you not see him ignore her messages until she said something about drowning ? And in one call she mentioned his son and he doesn't want her around him. He doesn't want to go to her. In ep 15 he walked out restaurant that she tricked him into going by making her father's secretary set it up . He didn't even sit down when he saw what she did. I have never seen him seek her out go to her unless there was something urgent. Also, she was working on the project with him.

I laughed at the expression on Haoming's face when she bid 3 mil. And then when Xu Yan turned to smile right into his face it was the perfect touch. Yes, I picked up on her comment that it was all for show. Everything in this drama is significant. It is outstanding.

I don't know why but I keep watching. I watched that slap scene in ep 15 over 5 times already.

But outsiders do not know the story of how her father rejected her.

Xu Yan was the best thing that ever happened to Haoming. I think he threatened her with pulling his support from her tv company but he was using it to make her stay with him. He didn't know she would resign. I don't think he wants to ruin her career. He wants to control her and he was brutal when she asked for them to start over. I almost turned against him but I feel he loves her. He took her for granted and thought he was so powerful and high up there, she would never leave him. But she proved him wrong. I am mad at him too, but I also have hope he will redeem himself because I see good in him.

She used suicide attempts to make him go to her. The last attempt he walked out and left her to his attorney.

I am rewatching and focusing on his expressions. He was not faking all those looks of admiration and concern he sent her way. And when they went to sign the divorce papers, he breathed a sigh of relief that they had to wait for one month to finalize. I think he looked quite peppy when he got up to leave. Also, in the scene following the divorce registration, he was the only person with an appetite at dinner. Haochen and his mother couldn't even eat. But Haoming kept eating even after they left him sitting at the table and looked in good spirits.

I hope they reveal more about his childhood. He is a much better dad than Xu Yan's father. He didn't want to give away his son. I am going to watch the part where Xu Yan added the light to the little bear cave Haoming made.

He is not giving her hope. He has been pushing her away. She is the one who will not stop. He walked out as soon as he saw her father was not present for lunch.
