I am rewatching the battle scene in ep 36 but I remembered I have been meaning to ask..Why these two names? He Yan and Yan He?

Even if the emperor feared their combined powers, one would think he would be more concerned with winning the battle at this point. It doesn't make sense. But oh well...drama.

Last night I saw some reviews. Some positive and some not. This morning, I woke up to many negative reviews trending at the top🤔 I found all the positives somewhere in the back pages. You are so right with "The reviews keep coming on here like people starving for oxygen." 😂

Delusional for sure, but still a sad life.

I am thinking to jump back down the hole and lose myself in vertical dramas till more episodes are out or watch ADWAD or the Affectionate Eyes drama. I can't remember the name. My memory is on overload from too many mini dramas 😂

Because CZ used the emperor's fear of being usurped to convince him to split up the leads.

I didn't like his actions in influencing the emperor to split up the leads but in the end I pitied him. I am not saying I admired him. I like that he reported his master and did the right thing for justice, but he was delusional in thinking he could have He Yan. I cannot help feeling sad for him. He was wrong for sure, but I didn't feel he was evil.

I wish more people would do the same. When you think of all the work went into a 36 episode drama, it doesn't seem fair to rate any drama after only 4 episodes but I guess others feel justified. I saying for myself, I feel I should not.

I feel bad for him as well as upset at all the problems he caused especially where Yan He was concerned. It is sad that he went up in status and power only to lose it all. The child he was wanted to protect his mother and he was treated so badly by others. Yet he wasn't evil. I am not saying I like him but I pity him. I think it was good he did the right thing and turned in his master but perhaps what the drama shows is that sometimes selfish desires and delusions can lead people to lose sight of right from wrong. The person I most disliked was He Rufei.

I don't know either. I watched the drama without reading the comments since I started late. I am scrolling through now and shocked. I going to rewatch that scene again after catching up a bit.

All I could think when I saw her die was what a waste. She was the best thing in his life. It is too bad he didn't love her romantically but he cared for her. And I also thought that if he had not shown kindness to Ping Ping by taking her into his house, this might not have happened.

Thank you. I didn't know this so I didn't get the disappointment that comes with expectations. All I could see was that ML was struggling to read the edict. I knew he would change his mind but I think we could have done without that part. Directors alway think these things are better for the sake of drama. They like to get us all emotional. I am still so sad about Yan He's death but I think it happened in the book too.

He looks like him so the whole time I was thinking he must have been cleared of charges 😂

Okay, I can think of a few who annoyed me in other dramas.
