I just finished it and loved it. I don't like the soul merging or transfer trope but I loved it anyway.

I disagree. I thought Blossoms of Power was good. The OST was perfect also. I am not arguing with you. I just want to share as others will read the comments. I understand we all like different things. I just finished BOP. I don't like soul merging or transmigration, so it took me a while to get into it. Heyu kept me interested and then it got even better closer to the wedding.

I think Heyu deserves some extra love after BOP. Bai Jing Ting used to be in the dungeons on the leadership board but after The First Frost, a group of us sent him flowers weekly and he moved into the 20s. You will need to watch the ads on the MDL app to gain coins so you can send flowers to Heyu.

I just used up most of my coins to send him 100 flowers. If more fans could help send weekly, it would be a nice thing.

I was just saying the same. I fell in love with him in Speed and Love and I was awed by his performance in BOP. I hope there are more romance dramas coming. I can't stop staring at him.

I am done! It was such a beautiful journey once i got into it. At first it was hard because I am not fond of soul merging or transmigration or any such trope. In this drama, it was a bit hard to accept because I couldn't understand who the fl actually became. I loved Heyu in Speed and Love, and after BOP, I am even more amazed. Meng Zi was outstanding. It took me a little while to connect with her character, but once I understood why Xihe was so cold and saw the microexpressions showing she was affected by Hua Yong's flirting and love for her, it was much better for me. I will be watching BOP again, especially as I want to hear Hua Yong's beautiful love quotes.

I finished ep 36. It is a good thing there is a little bonus after this or that would not have been enough.

She was traumatized by the loss of her family. She is being cold because she doesn't want to trust anyone. This will change and it will be a beautiful progress to see.

I am so glad I stayed away from the detailed spoilers. Ep 35 was a surprise. Unfortunately, in need to know if it was a HE or not, I read the spoilers for the ending so I will not be surprised. I advise others not to read the spoilers.

I about to watch ep 32. I have seen the comments and dreading it.

That bath tub scene in ep 30 made me think my eyes were going bad. It was so blurry!

The lyrics to "Bustling Mortal World" reflect Xihe's internal struggles. She acts cold to protect herself, but beneath the surface, she is afraid. She went through trauma when she lost her whole family, and, understandably, her character wants to be in control of her emotions and her life. It will be difficult for her to trust. Even though Xihe's character is shown as someone who feels alone after losing her family, she learns she is not alone when she realizes she has someone who helps and respects her. Hua Yong's love for her melts the barriers around her heart.

Just dropping my thoughts briefly. I am going back to watch ep 30.

I will. People will probably get sick of me. I swoon at these scenes. One scene that moved me was when he said he would go through the pain to survive because he could not bear to leave her.
