I had to watch ep 20 again. I watched ep 19 twice last night before going to bed. I cannot get enough of watching the emotions on their faces. JQX's emotions are killing me. He looks so tortured.
--when JQX noticed she wore the necklace he stole from her 😂 He reached out to touch it and I felt the necklace was precious to him as a link to her these last two years
-- the almost kiss (Oh wait, I checked and you already said that 🤭) --the shower scene when she kept calling his name to make sure he was there -- the hospital scene when she woke up from her dream of them as kids
Just want to leave some love here for the characters of OG who I have come to love. I will miss them as my daily dose of happiness. This is an amazing performance by Jin Mai and Zhang Ling He 💗 I also love the support actors and hoping till the very last meet for a match between YY and YQ.
There was one trailer of a drama that made me think it would have a sad ending but I figured they wouldn't tell us if it did. But in the end, it really did.
If you told me last year that TBT would air better than OG, I'd laugh, so I can't believe it's actually happened…
Maybe for you. While I liked TBT and plan on rewatching again as it was calming and I liked the natural healing vibe, I didn't feel obsessed as I do with OG. ZLH's performance in OG leaves me breathless. I keep watching his scenes over and over. His performance as JQX deserves recognition. And so does Jin Mai. The emotions and the depth of OG is one that puts it in my top favorite list. Of course, I understand that we don't have to like the same things and obviously we defer. But I hope we can both agree to wish ZLH well in this and future endeavors.

I had no clue this existed. i watched ep one but I was distracted at the time and didn't understand it. I think she has a history with the ml but I am not sure how. But I loved the singing at the end!

He wants to make sure she is okay so he slows down to check. But on the otherhand he is in a panic. The wall he built around himself these past two years he built with pain of denying himself his need to be with her. Can you imagine how he feels when she suddenly appears? You can see him fighting with his resolve. He asked the landlord to get her breakfast. He wants to take her to a hotel and send her safely back to her college. Can you imagine living 2 years of his life and how it must have taken some strong self will to not give in to his inner most need to have Ying Tao in his life? The. human mind especially one of someone as deep as JQX is complex.

I loved TPR too, but I also love OG. I feel sad for JQX rather than upset with him. He suffered mental abuse from his mother and when Ying Tao walked into his life, she was the light in his dark world. He doesn't want her touched by his struggles. He wants his the person dearest to him to be free from his world. It is how he protects her. We don't need to agree with his choice but I cannot help but feel so bad for him. Ying Tao's tears in the shower was because of the knowledge of how he has suffered alone these past few years. I have to watch ep 20 again.
