The episodes ended fast for me. They feel like 10 mins instead of 45 mins. I think it is because I was so invested in Bai Jing Ting's acting. I watched all his expressions. I lost patience with the grandpa storyline and skipped it but I will try to watch it later as it probably has some connection to the theme. Everything comes together so well.

BJT 💖 I had him always in my thoughts during and after TFF 😂 Yes, both dramas are different but they also share a similar vibe at times. The wedding reception scene in TFF mirrors that of HL. Even Silence Wang's OST in TFF feels the same as his OST in HL. And even though HL was more the joy of first love, it does have some emotional depth and angst. While Jiaxu's trauma was not as stressed as Yi Fan's, both characters go through healing with their special Sang person. After TFF ended, I kept watching it over and over. But at some point I felt myself missing the the delightful scenes from HL and went back to watch again. It is like wanting chocolate ice cream one day and vanilla the next day. They are different flavors, but both are sweet and we can love them both. It depends on taste.

I love both dramas and it doesn't bother me if someone likes one more than the other. I think people should be able to offer their opinions as long as it is based on perception and not hate.

I assume you are talking about the comments from both sides that are meant to be hateful. All people need to do is ignore them. Otherwise, I don't have a problem with comparing certain aspects. The dramas are connected and it is perfectly normal to look for crossovers. I enjoy the crossover edits. Maybe it is because I like both dramas, but it doesn't bother me if someone says they like one a little more than the other.

At first I thought the grandpa storyline was there as a means to bring the second couple together but then it got deep into grandpa's life.
