Oh then did you see a purpose in the grandpa storyline. I am clueless because I stopped watching after a while.

Try You Are My Hero. You will see him in ep 1 with a mask on and yet his eyes will send a message.

While HL was airing, some loved to throw around the P word. Whenever I visited this page, there was always someone saying something about the age difference. Now there are "fans" trying to make this page toxic. HL is such a delight to watch but there is a force working against it since day 1 and it is not TFF fans. As soon as it calms down, someone stirs it up again. I wasn't planning on coming back in here for a while but just responding to your comment. HL will always be a top drama no matter what. Looking forward to seeing Lusi again in Love's Ambition.

The mother is weak and needs someone to lean on. Selfish.

I am glad Yi Fan did not accept her mother. The mother looked sorry at the end but I didn't care. There is no excuse for what she did. It made me so mad she catered to her spoilt step daughter and didn't care about Yi Fan.

I have never disliked a mother in a drama as much as this one..

I don't know how anyone can watch and not love Sang Yan!

He is so good!

I understand that. I cannot imagine living in such fear with no hope. When I saw her crying to her mom on the phone, saying she was scared, it broke my heart that her mother just rushed off the phone and didn't care. I disliked that mother so much!

I wish I could forget and start over!

I love Sang Yan! Bai Jing Ting was perfect. He is always so good with his expressions. Even in You Are My Hero with a mask on, I could read his expression in his eyes.

It doesn't hurt to try.

He traveled a distance to see her when she moved away and then she broke his heart. I know she went through trauma but she should have told him instead of making him feel he was the reason she was leaving. And then in the end, he wished he was the reason instead of the traumatic reality.

There are some details that you have to watch closely to catch. There was one part I suspected something happened so I read that part in the book and I was right! The director gives us clues. I will tell you later.

I skipped most of grandpa which is why I cannot comment. I felt they should have given more time to the second couple. I started getting interested in them when they went to HK.

It starts out with the relationship. Love at first sight. It is slow the way they stare at each other for example. But I enjoyed it. It also has sports, and I enjoyed that too. The FL is a professional. I love FL who are good at what they do.

It is sad that Yi Fan got so much hate. She went through so much with the loss of her father, then abandonment from her mother. And to make it all worse, the evil uncle. And she found the strength to remove herself from it all and build a life for herself. I could see that even though I felt so bad for Sang Yan. It was tough to see him hurt when he did so much for her in high school.

I am sure there is a good reason for grandpa's storyline. But I didn't have the patience to see it through because I wanted more Sang Yan! There is a correlation between grandpa's storyline to the leads. I will try to watch on my next rewatch.
