I cannot get the OST out of my head!

I don't mind the crossover videos as it is connected by some characters and events. What I don't like is when they compare them as one being better than the other. I loved both. I There are some similarities and I feel the HL vibe from Silence Wang's OST in TFF and In HL. I also loved both versions of Sang Yan. I saw traces of Sang Yan from HL when he was with Sang Zhi of course.

Nice to see you made it over here! I liked grandpa and nothing against him but I skipped his scenes and figured I could watch it later. Since I didn't watch grandpa's story, I cannot comment on it but I am sure there was reason in terms of parallels and themes.I didn't take off any points for grandpa because TFF affected me in such a way I could not move on from the beautiful couple. I am happy to hear you liked it.

I agree. The HK arc has a purpose. It was obvious to me when I saw Sang Yan realized Yi Fan had no family. When he went looking for her he saw her life as it was before. And then the drama switch back to the novel with the hotel scene where Sang Yan finally learns the reason Yi Fan left to go to Yihe. Once I saw the director's angle, I accepted that she had to go to HK.
