And the reason I don't find it slow burn is because they have a history together and I feel as if they are already connected. But I know what you mean. Each episode is feels focused on one thing then it moves graduallly into the next.
I wanted to stay quiet but well I can’t. So this creep who sexually assaulted her multiple times comes back…
I was nervous when I saw her working in an empty office. In the book she asked Sang Yan to pick her up after work unless he was working late. Personally, I would have been nervous in that building to even go in the elevator alone. Perhaps this is how the producer or director creates suspense for drama's sake. The fact that she worked late in a building that the uncle-in-law was the security guard does not define who she is. She is so much more. The main thing is that YiFan as a character is brave for taking control of her life from a family that mentally abused her. She left. She hurt Sang Yan in the process. She felt he would be better off without her in his life. This reminds me of the ML in Lighter &. Princess who told the FL he didn't love her because he knew what he was about to do would send him to jail. Then when they met again, the FL put herself in the same company he was in and she didn't push him or make demands. She was simply just there. This is so much like what Sang Yan did moving into her apartment.
I am fully invested in TFF. The little things that don't make sense do not take away from the main concepts of the drama. It is beautiful to see the selfless love Sang Yan has for YiFan. And it is heartbreaking to see how YiFan struggled in her life. And it is heartwarming to see how they find each other again. Now I am waiting to see YiFan's final confrontation with her mother. She needs to close the book on that chapter in her life. There is no redemption for her mother. No excuse.
By now you would think viewers would understand that she was a victim not just of SA but verbal and emotional…
I felt bad for Sang Yan that she hurt him back then but I also understood that she went through trauma. When I saw him doing everything for her while she kept her emotions locked up, I wanted her to start doing special things for him. Thank goodness she decided to chase him and started opening up to him. I loved that he didn't push her. All he did was love her with no demands. Those who say this is overrated are entitled to what they feel. It is Sang Yan's selfless love that makes me love this.
I don't understand her. I tried to think that maybe losing herself in her new family is how she deals with the loss of her husband. People who go through grief react differently. But there is no excuse for abandoning her daughter especially when she was scared of the people she was forced to live with .
Did WYF change to denim jeans in the taxi? Episode 22.
I wondered why she had pants on when she got out of the cab then I watched it again. I thought the paper bag she carried to the wedding was a gift but it was her pants. Why put on pants in the cab? I guess it was because of the scene where she was on the side walk. It was under her skirt.
