I love the pacing also. You can see Zijing getting a bit possessive over her and the subtle looks his gives her shows his yearning or that has feeling for her. This tough guy feels flustered. I love it.

When she asked ZJR about YZJ's family, she didn't tell him anything.

I saw this and wanted to ask about this as I read comments saying hot kiss😂 I think the nose rub is spicier than the finger kiss but perhaps that is the bts and the angle we see will look like a kiss.

LOL! I put dramas on my list but I don't know when I will get to them because some newer ones grab my interest. I think I will never get to watch some and yet I rewatch some many times. Lighter & Princess is one of the best. The chemistry is one I have never seen any other drama.

I try not to watch but with some such as this I cannot resist.

I think that scene was meant to show how she really felt about PWX.

That is how I had to look at it. I didn't like what she did in the past but I decided to watch for the present.

That kiss scene where she turned her face away....They really dragged it out but finally she admitted she only had PWX in her heart. I think with LR we had to watch what she did. She fussed over PWX was he was hurt and was protective of him.

It was so obvious she was deliberately giving SRQ attention at the start because she thought PWX killed her. Once she found out it was not PWX, she only gave SRQ attention in order to find out the truth behind her death. I had no doubt she had feelings for PWX. I loved PeiRong and find it unfortunate that the producer ruined it for some. The producer should have done things differently were SRQ was concerned. I loved PeiRong too much to let the sml ruin it for me but I can understand why many of ZLH's fans were upset.

I don't even think I fully watched the tea scene toward the end the first time around. It was redundant. But I keep watching PWX march up those palace stairs to save LR. Loved him so much in that!

I have never seen a drama get so much hate as TPR. I couldn't believe the negative comments. It is unfortunate that so many of ZLH's fans were upset about the sml's screentime and felt strongly that the director did him dirty. I on the otherhand felt ZLH was amazing in his role and he made me love his character,PWX. I know I am not the only one because PWX was trending as most popular on Douban for weeks.

I also go by how the drama makes me feel. HL has high rating for a reason and it is not because Lu Si has many fans. I was not into any fandom when I watched HL and ended up loving it so much. I registered on MDL just so I could comment on HL, but before that I only used MDL to find new dramas to watch. HL is such a feel good drama. Lu Si was not new to me as I had already seen Who Rules the World. I liked her acting since then but there is something special about HL. In HL she plays the role of girl who grew up with a loving a family even if she and her brother bicker. And the ML portrayed a character who grew up suffering for the his parent's mistakes and yet turned out to be a kind and giving individual. The FL who knew nothing about suffering came to be the one who helped him. She became his support and strength through some tough times. It is no wonder he fell in love with her.
