I’ve just started this and I am on episode 4 but I am finding the FL character very annoying and sort if desparate. She’s just chasing the guy no end and seems to have zero patience. I see all the good reviews and rating. Does she get any better ?

Yeah I tell myself it’s atleast 6 months in my head!! otherwise the struggles won’t have much of an impact. Enjoying the drama though!

I am on ep21 and I don’t understand the timing of things. Their “cooling off” period was supposed to be 30 days - so they’re saying in 30 days, she got rejected from multiple interviews, worked as a live streamer, quit and started a new business, worked to get investors and then opened up her new office? Not to mention the resort trip! That’s all supposedly done in 30 days??!!

Did they not once wonder that the ML could have had a wife or love interest priorto losing his memories!! ??

What character growth! She bacame a starry eyed puppy for most part after setting the bar so high in the first few episodes. I kept waiting for her to regain her former glory but even when she remembered, she barely had the same persona…even her name was so demure.

I feel the same…I really wanted to see more of the badass Mu Qingge FL but that was so fleeting.

Absolutely agree with this review. There was a severe lack of the intensity and that connection from the past. I so wished the characters esp the ML had that same charisma and stature; that some if the history repeated but ended differently. Forever and ever was just like watching a long long ending scene/epilogue. The FL had nothing but romance on her mind the entire time. It was just too superficial, goody goody without any real substance.

I kind of think that he started so early that his demeanour would naturally be calm and overly mature for his age. He literally had nothing and those who followed him did so voluntarily. His skills did reflect in his confidence and in fighting scenes.

Just finished this drama and man I was blown away. I had been avoiding this one for the longest time mainly because of the reviews related to sad ending and tears etc but to my pleasant surprise, the story was quite sweet for almost the entirety of the show. There wasn’t petty jealousy and long drawn drama. The hero stood tall and confident throughout. The fl spent a lot of good years with so many lovely people. It’s usually uncommon to find such a great support cast (without a jealous girl trying to sabotage etc). No misunderstandings. The ml was revered by all even until the end. Yes the ending was sad but the show was amazing and had lots of good characters. PS - loved the monk 😊
