no comment on story yet, it’s great, but that intro and synopsis gives me hint of propaganda push for Chinese solar energy. doesn’t bother me much but it’s seemed heavy from intro.

screenwriter is Zhang Wei. not much of her work listed here. anyone know what good work has she done.

damn I was waiting till it was out hoping for something nice to watch during holidays. guess not. lol

there’s something heartwarming about this drama. maybe it’s their chemistry. or the really homely feel of the home of song yan’s family or the growth in leads. despite its typical soap opera feel and obvious weak writing, I still watched it 3 times.

I find lately a lot of dramas try to redeem trashy evil characters it’s really annoying.

there’s a specific background music I find too high and too repetitive, when I rewatched it I muted it fast forwarded the specific music when it happened, other than that it’s a great business romance show. bit of a classic in that genre. really, there’s worse show to watch. if you want modern business office romance that’s definitely a good watch still.

I respect your point of view and do kinda agree, but I just wanted to say the thing with the ex and her not treating her husband good, is not lasting long, actually from memory it is solved in episode 9. it’s definitively not an award-worthy show, but it was not worse than others. mostly, I found it underwhelming, but its a good show to watch after watching something sad.
it’s worth saying, for the same style of show, I did prefer “here we meet again”.

I agree with you, the thing about it, especially that ending, I just forget about the drama and can't remember! such a pity, cause its a well made classic other than last few episodes.
