could still be censorship. in cdrama censorship doesn’t always apply evenly across all couples in the same show, censorship is really weird sometimes. I found other show boardcasted also toned down with kisses.

it is boardcasted on CCTV in China hence it got toned down with romance scenes. most likely was forced with censorship.
