Watched it because I saw about the Kdrama remake. Kdrama watcher here but now I only watch Cdramas particularly Qin Lan's dramas and variety shows.

Did anyone see the Dear Inn post from the Weibo Super Group? They had an online promo or something. I wonder if it is just to boost views or a new season is coming?

Watched this because of a funny clip where Qin Lan's character said "If you have any intentions towards me, I will kill you." That's exactly how my middle-aged superior rejected her suitor. The drama is surprisingly addicting. Never thought I would enjoy this as it's pretty underrated internationally. Beacame a fan of QL because of The Rational Life but this one is good as well. The various circumstances of the clients are interesting. It tackles almost all kinds of love stories even those who prefer to be single. There was a character who said "You are right when you said 'Don't just get married for the sake of it.'" I was like Qin Lan's character did not say that but she actually said it in real life. The dynamic between Qin Lan and Allen Ai is good too as Allen is a comedian so he's like the Adam Sandler or Owen Wilson of China. The love line between the leads is just subtle tho because of the teasing of their mothers. The employees also have their backstory. The toxic senior female employee also has a back story which explains her behavior. The office dynamics is also very relatable. Qin Lan's role as a boss is very professional but has a human side too. Some say she gets typecast with this role but I don't feel she acts the same as you can still distingusish her lady boss roles from each other.
