I have watched 2gether and did not enjoyed it. I don´t understand why so many people like it. The story was fine…
I think people enjoy it because of the fresh bright pretty face of Win, and some cute scenes there. But it is undeniable that there still lack emotion and chemistry between two main actors. What a pity!
I still feel bromance vibes, even with all the retcon and not actual boyfriends but maybe that's just me. Good…
Same feeling here. This is more bromance to me, rather than a couple in love. I still do not find out the reasons: bad direction, bad cut, bad script writing, bad acting, or anything else?
‘I Told Sunset About You’ won the Most Popular Overseas Drama with 4.9M votes, PP and Billkin ranked #1 and #2 for the Most Popular Overseas Stars with 3M votes at the 2020 Weibo TV Series Awards.
GMM has the money, but they usually only play "safe". This though was made in a hurry with rewritings being done…
Sometimes, I think the way GMM treats their actors is not fair. Of course, their actors make a lot of money. But I do believe all real actors want to have characters, whom they portrait, live for their lifetime, and beyond. That comes out of money, but it comes from their enthusiasm, their sacrifices to their careers. I could show one example, "I told sunset about you". I think Billkin Putthipong Assaratanakul (Teh) and PP Krit Amnuaydechkorn (oh-aew) seem to portrait their characters which will live for long time.
Its my first BL drama that I watched. After my exams finished. I really loved it. It is mesmerizing. I love its…
How can you think it is based on the reality. To my way of thinking, it is truly in a fantasy world: Sarawat loves for Tine is more than perfect; a guy like Tine who likes girl, then love Sarawat (He might love Sarawat like a brother. That would be more reasonable); ... More reality would go for "I told sunset about you"!
GMM has the money, but they usually only play "safe". This though was made in a hurry with rewritings being done…
I remembered about the common approach from the film makers to actors are to send their actors to get to know, to develop their understanding, ... before filming. Even "Addicted" series, I read somewhere that both main actors were arranged to stay in the same room, to go around together for that purposes.
GMM has money, but all its BL series are poorly produced. Compare them with Nadao's "I told Sunset about you"…
Haha, I just posted a review and I forgot to write about how "instant noddles" GMM are. They got everything, except for a masterpiece series/movie. They are in power of making almost actors to be buffed, trended, receive high fame, ... But a masterpiece is what they do not have, or they do not want to do. I think, it simple, their vision. As long as they still make a lot of profits, any masterpieces series, movies are secondary.
They lack chemistry. Period. No matter how the fans spin it, the main couple looks like two straight guys forced…
It's true. It is a bromance. Btw, in one of interview in the documentary "BL: A broken Fantasy", Win once said that in reality, if the things happened like in the series, the love he/Tine reserves for Sarawat is like for a brother.
I was trying to comment, but I failed doing that miserably. Considering about the content, acting, script. I don't think the series are good enough. Simply, it is more a bromance series, rather than a BL series. Fairly, Green (Gun Korawit Boonsri) gave us, the watchers, the best performance, even he is just a support role. Their handsome / pretty faces, especially, Win Metawin Opas-iamkajorn (Tine) and Bright Vachirawit Chiva-aree (Sarawat), really saved the series.
However, the team behind, even marketing people, product developers, ... and the actors gained a lot, way very much, after the series, both "2gether" and "Still 2gether". - We saw that all actors, especially, Win and Bright, has established a very large fans base. Win is a very good example in this case, in a very short-time and with his first acting role, he got about 4.5 million followers on IG. For Bright, the number was more than 6.2 million. That's a huge number, comparing to other actors, e.g. Tun, Max, etc. Obviously, acting in a BL series could be a smart decision for young actors (even with outstanding acting or handsome/pretty faces). - The series editing team was done an excellent job in covering almost impurities on their actors' faces. We can notice that Tine's appearance was always reddish, fair-complexion, perfect skin tone (even he has very fine faceskin). These created a huge buff for his role as an actor for product advertisement. - Products made exclusively with their names: Idolo (I believe it was from "Idol") and adding the name of actors, e.g. Bright---; Win---. I admired the ways they do these product development and marketing strategy. Their must be some very clever heads behind all of these. - Cleverly integrated advertisements: I think all product advertisement in the series somehow fit well.
P/s: I watched a documentary, titled "BL: Broken Fantasy", there are some very interesting points of views there. Particularly, when it comes to BL and making BL series. One of BL director said that it is the so-called "WIN-WIN" for all.
