This is for people who are complaining about the the game revolving in APM. I have seen many comment on how this is not Starcraft or other RTS games where APM really matters. From my understanding of how the game "GLORY" being played is that it is like Overwatch combined with MMORPG. With this you need a high APM to produce the necessary combos with skills. My rough estimate of the number of skills is more than 20. When producing skill combos you only have a split second to input the next skill for it to connect. They can also block in the game and in a fast 1st person game blocking is really hard. Combining all these we can say that the player in "GLORY" needs to Attack, Block, Parry, Activate skill, Time the skill input to start a combo, aim where to throw the skills and skill cancel to produce feints (there are thing that i forgot to enter here), All in all that is why APM is needed.
I like how they deviate to the novel but still make it work. All the minor things that they change are acceptable and within reason. I really like to commend the time they put to make the game character look like the player.
