I think the female lead is doing really well acting wise, some of the others too but a few do stand out negatively.

Why do I feel like they constantly rush through pretty important although traumatic plot points? "Oh hey Jay-Jay so you were nearly raped but oh well, let's have fall break now and dance cutely at a halloween party." Like huuuuh? We just gonna gloss over the trauma? Not to forget we still haven't let her talk it out with them about revealing her boyfriend strangling her at the hospital (ngl these plots are giving Meredith Grey kinda life iykyk). This is so dumb but is constantly on my mind. When romanizing 花道 there is no t in Hanamichi. And like i guess that's how it's in the books which is why I see it spelled as Hanamitchi everywhere? It does make his character easy to find online though, immediately pops up

Not sure, I did find out that he comes from a family of actors so maybe it's that nepobaby syndrom. I did watch the behind the scenes and he is definitely motivated though so it's not like he's lazy or anything. Practice is still in order though.

It's not the worst I have ever seen but it's not great so far. i know quite a few rookies who are simply better and it definitely doesn't help that everyone else is a tad more convincing. I do still recommend watching it though, mostly for Ashtine, she is really amazing in this role. I had goosebumps a few times.
