But guys why in the Nine Heavens no one was friend with HRY it's so occurred to me because she was a Lord but…
Because she stole BJS's power and terrorized the whole immortal realm, stealing their artifacts so she can revive ShiAn. Naturally, no one would side with her.
As we are about to bid goodbye here, I just want to say I appreciate the healthy discussions and commentaries here. Lately I have been avoiding even reading MDL comments due to how toxic it sometimes go. Some of us viewers are not really invested in the celebrities themselves, the popularity rankings, or the behind the scenes issues. Some of us just wants to enjoy the show for the plot and overall quality.
Although there are still some not so mature commenters here, I see a healthy mix of positives and negatives. And what's nice is that the negatives seems to be really rooted from their own interpretation of the story and not some unrelated bias or hate. Truly, a mature story attracts mature audience. 🤗
I feel like nothing happened for the whole story and its ending in 5 episodes now . Feel like something is missing…
Perhaps this kind of story is not for you? 🤗. Many things have already happened to the point that even I am exhausted lol We are going thru their pain and emotional process and I think there is a healthy amount of progress.
Do you guys think he is acting? I love that CangTu emphasized that given BJS's personality he would not act this way.🤣 But we know he's willing to give up even his dignity just to be close to her 👀haha
It got better for me after the first episode, the drama leans more into mystery and plot twists try putting it…
I think watching it while airing is also an experience. You get to digest each episodes and think of theories, it's part of the fun. Bingewatching it, I can imagine may be draining due to the heavy plot.
The problem when you like an actress a lot, is that, even if you don't like the drama, you have a feeling that…
Tbf, for a drama with this complex plot, imo this one has little to no plothole, specially on the emotional side. If you put yourself into individual pov, all their actions make sense. I also notice the script really helps answering questions. It's like they already anticipated questions coming from viewers. I'm very picky with dramas, and although this one may not be perfect, it's very well written and unique.
I'm not very thrilled with how they showed BJS pov, it wasn't as intense as I wanted it to be haha
There is one inconsistency that bothers me though. In ep3, it was mentioned that XiaoJingShan was captured by BJS, was locked up in Heaven Prison and only released 3 days prior. Aligns with the time SZ met him. These doesn't match what XJS revealed, being prisonmates with BJS 400yrs ago. And how did he manage to orchestrate HRY's suffering in the mortal world if he was just recently released?
Ep 26: I really LOVED the short scene between BJS and HRY in the graveyard, the whole dialogue was perfect to…
I'm not a fan of the amnesia trope as well. But the writer had always been throwing in cliched tropes only to break them later, so I'm guessing this is another one. My prediction is he really did momentarily lost memory but then continue to fake it to get close to her. BJS is going all in, even at the expense of his dignity. Lol
Naturally, no one would side with her.

And how cute are CangTu and LiMo dropping him off like a kid going on a playdate.🤣🤣
