S2 is kinda frustrating for me because the villains feel a little too forced. Kusanagi's pyscho expression, random english and smugness gets tiring so quickly. Also you shouldn't let the same bad guys have the upper hand on multiple eps, it's not satisfying for viewers. I'm not looking for realism, just keep JinMan's team badass and OP haha
Also with Pasin, he was one of the most talked and loved character in S1. Unless the writers hate the viewers, there shld be a resolution for the current situation.
Just started today after binging BOP. I love Esther from LBFAD, but man, I kinda forgot how annoyingly grating her baby voice can be. I know it will take me some episodes to get used to it again.
While I like that they wrapped up Bale's chapter, having Q the next main antagonist over her brother's death is rather corny. I hope it won't drag out.
Just finished. I think this is the only Cdrama I didn't drop this year. The beginning was good, it was definitely the charming Crown Prince that carried it. Middle was also okay with some parts dragging. What kept me watching is because it was satisfying. You do not have to suffer with episodes of villains winning, problems get resolved quickly. The last 6 episodes were great! That's when I'm actually fully invested in the story. However, I will admit the last bit didn't feel satisfying. I wish writer gave some more explanation rather than just letting viewers assume.
The novel version, if you are curious:Huayong managed to get the emperor promised him that his son will be the…
Ohh so the novel's plot is really different from the tv version? Sounds like the Emperor is the villain in the novel, because why is Huayong trying to kill him?
I don't understand the 2nd Prince storyline, why drink the soup. It's not like failing to capture BuShulin is the end of his career. Everything was done in secret from the Emperor, so I don't know why it mattered so much.
oh my god! I did not recognize Bu ShuLin as a woman, I thought it's a new character. It's amazing how believable she was as a man, but it blows my mind that she looks different as a woman. This should be the standard for cross dressing dramas.

Overall, a highly recommended drama!
