lol, are you serious? There can't be a worst secondary storyline that this one? I can't believe you until I watch that show (I'm already looking for it), because the bar is so high with this stupid storyline in Love has Fireworks, that is difficult to believe that another screenwriter wrote something even worse :)
The WORST (uppercase deserved) secondary storyline in any tv show I've seen until now, is by difference the one with Dang you and jun Cheng and his parents.
I was patient the first times but at this point I just fast forward every single time any of those 4 actors appear in the show. Is so boring, pathetic and at some point stupid that to be honest it almost ruins the rest of the tv show for me, an is a really good tv show but that stupid secondary storyline should have been discarded from the beginning.
And I'm really sorry for the actors that are caugth in it, both Dang you and jun Cheng deserv a lot more, but the screenwriter that came up with this stupid story should be fired.

Thanks for the advice. As you said I skipped most of episode 10 and really glad to have done that. Episode 11 and 12 (back to the actual era) are also great and I suppose there can´t be any more flashbacks at least in the Republican era :)
I watched until episode 9-10 and then I decided to stop watching it. First episodes in the present were amazing, then they started with the flashbacks to a past era, and the guy taking blame for something he did for her (as an idiot) and her breaking ties with him and blablabla... I hate that kind of stupid plot so not interested anymore and to be honest the plot in the past is like it was written by the 9 years old niece of the screenwriter who wrote the plot in the present
