Thank you for making these lists every year and keeping track of updates for all of the shows. Unlucky bae may have already started workshops and might begin filming in the next couple of months. I suspect several of the shows have already started the process, as well, we just haven't heard about it yet.

Awhile. DMD always has years between announcing a show, filming and releasing a show. From what I've seen over the past couple of years, DMD doesn't film more than 2 series at a time. They are currently filming LUAT and DWY (DWY will complete filming soon and LUAT will wrap up early next year), and MaxNat's new series was doing read-throughs and workshops, so I predict that one will be next to film. But there hasn't been any other word (that I know of) of what show will be starting the process soon.
My theory is that OFDO will air after the mourning period ends at the end of February. I hate it, but at this point I will be (happily) surprised if it airs before that.

He wanted more time to work on his music, and he is a part of Dexx now, but being part of a dedicated pairing takes a lot of time and commitment. So by leaving the set pairing he has more time and flexibility to work on other projects, both in acting and in music.
The pilot looks really good, can't wait to see the first episode. Off to see if I can find the book in English.
Is there a book? MDL tends to be pretty good about putting in the description if a drama is adapted from a novel. So with that being absent from this description I assume this is an original.
So, the pilot is filmed before filming for the series starts. From what I understand, it is a trailer (of sorts) used as a way to gauge interest from the public and as a way to pull in funding and sponsors for the actual filming of the series.
