Cliche but very well worth it

Hands down one of the best Rom Com I have seen in a loong time.

I started writting this review in a unbiased , retrospect way so I can make a calm , not so over the top professional review , well... fork that. Im gonna let my emotions do the talking , as the drama did for me.

I loved marriage, not dating from start to finish, I went in for the casual rom com breather drama , what I got 16 hours pure unadulterated k drama manic fun.

I fast forward a lot , like when dramas get into a particular pattern and you know whats gonna happens next , so youre like well what the hell... onwards , with this one I did not even think of doing that even once.

it is definitely not saying this was a revolution in the rom com genre , this is me saying I fell in love literallly with the show. For whenever the plot and story lacked the substance , the characters and pure levels of comedic acting bliss made up for it big time , there was hardly an episodes where I couldn't contain a laugh.

what you get is a complete package of fun romance and tear running comedy , blended in with extremely well done production ( tvn duh ).

Just give it a try lols

I am writing this right after finishing the drama.

I am writing this review straight after the feels train of the last few episodes , it will most certainly leave a biased review , but then what more there is to a kdrama than giving this perfect moments of pure euphoria , dont you think ? Even if we come to change our minds later on.

Cliche is as Cliche gets. What you will get from this drama ?, What you can expect is spelled out for you from quite early on. I would though , as strongly as I can, say to get on with the journey , as I feel in this case was very beautifully done , no matter if you know where you are going.

Han Ji Hoon is a playboy slash capable entrepreneur , He is touted as the heir to a very successful hotel business. Things get messy when his birth mother gets diagnosed with liver sclerosis , which makes him go to the extreme measure to arrange a contract marriage to obtain the liver for the transplant , hence the entry of Kang Hye Soo into his life.

The drama has many subtle moments which we feel only from the visuals which require no further explanation , the hardships which the characters endure are brought to life with some heartbreaking moments and brilliant direction. Especially in the 14th episode , watch out for that.

For the causal k drama fan , this will seem a bit of a bias review , this drama is not in anyways perfect, It could have some better acting from the male lead , the story-line could have been developed in a less cliched way, but at the end of the day, I gave it 9 where I should I have given it a 7 , I stayed with it and I enjoyed it , way more than I thought I would, and that counts for more than a blatant rating system.

Also, it has one of the most cutest child actors in the whole industry :) .

Its pretty straight forward

Im writing this review qith a bit of love/hate. why ?
Cause its pretty straight forward.

I started this drama expecting a typical rom com , filled with heart fluttering moments , with those tad its of emotional heartbreaks , and an all is well ending .

What I got was something I did not all experience before. Was that bad ? yes and no.

The first 12 episodes of the drama flew by for me( except the first two a "bug" in the system as mentioned by above reviews) . In fact I liked it to a point where I thought its certainly gonna be extremely fun ride , which it was , but what i did not expect was how surprised I would be with the way romance is handled in this drama .

Dont get me wrong , it has everything a romcom drama has to offer , but where I got put off was towards the end , The lead characters apparent romantic troubles ,was in non chopped words, pretty bland. they show irrevocable trust in each other , which sort of defeated all the purpose of the introduced side characters and their backstories, and the ending is spelled out for you without any trouble, It was straight forward in its romantic emotions , If I may put it like that.
You know the feeling where you can almost feel the pain and emotions from the characters from the screen ?, which is something I live for. This drama did not present me with nothing of that sort from the romance side, which should never have been the case.

Nevertheless , This was a fun ride , I finished this way faster than I expecte to , Fun quirky character , a pretty good plot , and cute bffs , You'll definitely get the package all right , its just that it had pretty bad wrapping , and it sort of damaged an otherwise brilliant product.
