Sometimes a platonic relationship is enough. Intimacy has become so normalized as the foundation of a relationship, when in reality, some of the deepest and most meaningful connections are platonic. We simply label them as friends or family.
Deep down, we all long to be someone’s exception; the one who makes them forget every rule they once swore by. So love yourself gently, grow through every season, learn from every heartbreak, and never let past pain convince you to close your heart to love again. - Vi Champagne 🥰

In my second viewing, the most profound scene was in episode 12, where a husband pleads with the man his wife has cheated with, asking him to release her, promising to improve as a partner. It is one of the deepest scenes in K-dramas for me.
Lacked soul, netflix produced shows often do. Decent drama nonetheless.
It was not meant to be soulful. It was meant to be reflective. Message: Don't let your past dictate your future. Your happiness is your own creation, even if you find it in its smallest measures. Now it was intentionally cringe for sure, but what is a drama without the cringe lol
