Seo Kang Joon's handsomeness captivates me!

I hundred-percent agree with another reviews of this drama saying that When The Weather Is Fine is a slow-paced melodrama. The whole story was built little by little, I guess, so us the audience can get the real feeling of this drama.

The set took place in a peaceful village where the neighborhood is warm. Not forget to say that the snowy season really supports the ambience of the movie. It's like expressing the contrary: on the coldest season, you feel the most warmth.

What I learnt a lot from this drama is loving someone in a polite way. Yes, in a very polite way. Seo Kang Joon as Im Eun Seob is someone who's very calm. He's in love with his high school classmate, Mok Hae Won (Park Min Young), for years but having no gut to tell her his true feeling. Even many years later when they're separately living in another city and can't meet daily. Instead, he pours his feeling in a secret way by writing on a blog and waiting for Mok Hae Won to come on every holiday, the only time he can see her. He keeps loving her secretly. Can you see how hard that thing is?

To be honest, at the time I watched this drama, I was in a state of enough seeing Park Min Young in a drama. I even haven't finished watching Healer because it's her again on the drama. But in this one, everything is different. I was okay with her as the main lead. And I truly adore her for her acting.

If you're okay with meaningful and slow-paced melodrama, When The Weather Is Fine is seriously for you. Plus side, you'll have many beautiful poems being read in the drama.

(SO FAR) MOST HEARTWARMING DRAMA OF THE YEAR!

Let me start reviewing Hospital Playlist with 2 words: 1. VISUAL and 2. TALENT

The visual is not a joke! Isn't it crazy seeing a drama in which the casts are all visual? Jo Jun-suk, Jung Kyung-ho, Yoo Yeon-seok, Kim Dae-myung and last but not least, the prettiest rookie, Jeon Mi-do! I was seriously in shock just looking at the drama's poster at that time. I was thinking, "How come all the casts are this handsome and pretty?" Leaving the main casts alone, the support actors and actresses are so good looking and suit the roles pretty well too.

The five main casts are so talented! While waiting for the new episode to come, I spend my time watching their behind the scenes, either on Youtube or somewhere on Instagram. I got some videos showing the Mido and Falasol band practicing! I didn't expect them to REALLY play the instruments by themselves, but they did! As a church musician myself, I believe it won't be easy for any actor or actress learning to play an instrument for a shooting purposes, but they made it! Hats off!

Last, you don't need to question the quality of this drama since Hospital Playlist is from the same team, director and writer who worked on the Reply series and Prison Playbook. From their history of making films or dramas, we know that we're going to have some meaningful, heartwarming and insightful view of the professions in the medical field and also the relationship built of the hospital family.

To resume my review here: Hospital Playlist makes me cry. Hospital Playlist makes me laugh.

Please give it a try! Cheers!

The Power of Lee Min Ho

To be honest, among all K-dramas I've watched, this one is very hard to describe. Took me weeks after finished watching to embrace myself writing my review here. And I decided not to read other's opinions, good or bad, on this since I believe they will affect my objectivity. I want to be very honest pouring out my review about The King: Eternal Monarch.

1. The Power of Lee Min Hoo
I don't see myself as LMH's die-hard fan who's passionately waiting his comeback after discharge for military service. Since I started watching K-dramas, LMH is, sadly, not on my most favorite actor list though. But for real, I can see clearly that LMH is one of few actors who has such a strong aura. His persona is out of this world and this I believe becomes the reason why he always gets those rich man or prince roles. Specifically talking about The King: Eternal Monarch, I can tell that Lee Min Hoo is the strongest X factor this drama is a bomb.

2. Ads are crazy
I've never seen a drama with too many ads before. Like, the product placements are everywhere! But don't get me wrong. I'm totally okay to that. The ads are beautifully capsulating through the drama so it doesn't bother me too much.

3. This drama is not for everyone
This kind of story is not for everyone, like for real. If you're into science fiction-thingy, this one is for you. But to me, this one is watchable and I really enjoyed my time watching this back then. I didn't find TKEM is hard and very complicated to watch like most people are saying. I remember, I cried so hard on the last 3 episodes. Some scenes are very touching and I praise all the casts for their excellencies.

BAEKSANG 2021, YOU HAVE THE WINNER HERE!!!

Gosh! I'm literally speechless. I finished this drama last night (August 09, 2020) and in this very morning, I still can't compose myself. I get that weird feeling like there's a hole in my heart and I don't know how to fill the void. Two months journey with It's Okay To Not Be Okay every weekend is one of the best moments I've ever had with a K-drama. I was crazy about this one and got too invested. While waiting for the next episodes, I kept rewatching the previous episodes like million times! I even memorized all the scripts! Damn! When they say this is a healing drama, yes, here I am, healed by It's Okay To Not Be Okay!

1. The production
PDnim and all the crews, you have my greatest appreciation! Hats off for the hard work because I can 100% sure that your almost 6 months of hard work, sleepless nights and sacrifices, it all pays off! PERIOD! This drama is an absolute gems and I believe it had already changed and touched so many souls. The editing is a top notch! Like, look at that cinematic 360-degree shot and the very smooth transition on the early episodes, 대박!!!

2. Story
Jo Yong writernim, you're indeed a genius! When I saw those parallelism on the drama, I was like: "Wow! So the dots are connected now!" and it was 진짜 진짜 brilliant! Every episodes have a beautiful titles, beautiful morals and the titles perfectly encapsulate their whole stories. The character development is the main point. You can clearly see how they transform so beautifully.

3. Acting
There they are! The mighty Kim Soo Hyun, the versatile Oh Jung Se, the wonderful Seo Ye Ji: the trio is badass! Moon Gang Tae is for Kim Soo Hyun only. Moon Sang Tae is for Oh Jung Se only. Ko Mun Yeong is for Seo Ye Ji only. No one can do better than them. The quality of their acting are top tier. What makes me happy is that you can also see that all the casts were doing their best and 100% all out! Even the minor roles are doing their best! The old saying is true: when you work with a best partners in a perfect environment, that magic force will come to you and boost you. PS: If them three don't receive any awards in the near future, I riot!

4. Visual FX
I watched all the behind the scene-videos of It's Okay To Not Be Okay and I can tell the visual FX works like magic! The CGI is so perfect and looks very real! Look at the Cursed Castle. You almost can't tell that the whole building is all CGIed. I guess, all the upcoming drama have to learn from this one. It's Okay To Not Be Okay set the bar very high!

5. OST
OH MY GOD! The OST is very very very good! Like, all the songs are specially made for this drama, to support the story. I'm in love with all of the songs and even once made a cover of You're Cold by Heize. I need the album to be released on digital music platform soon!

NB: Have you felt so invested into the drama? That makes you watch it over and over again using 3 different languages? Have you felt the urge to learn Hangeul (or Korean language in general) just so you can watch the drama without the subtitles? Have you faced the fact that the OST keep ringing in your mind? Yes, I have.

Watch this drama and you will get what I get. Fingercrossed!

Whoa! To be honest, as a newbie in K-drama world, I've never heard of Lee Jong Suk before. I didn't even know that he holds the title of the most followed Korean actor in Instagram. Lol! But after watching While You Were Sleeping, I can understand why. His visual is no joke, eventho his face is not my definition of handsome. Sorry, LJS!

The main casts are amazing. Lee Jong Suk and Bae Suzy together is like putting 2 final best ingredients into a recipe so it will taste good. Their chemistry is okay, I have no complain at all.

The OST is on another level! I'm happy when I heard Davichi's I Miss You being played on the drama. It fits the story so much!

So far, one of the best dramas in 2020!

There are 2 aspects I adore the most from Find Me In Your Memory: the charisma of the main leads and the OST.

Like seriously, Kim Dong Wook as Lee Jung Hoon doesn't need to be handsome to be that charismatic. I'm in awe on how him being a news anchor can be that captivating. His image is like a mature man who speaks little but acts much. My first thumb up goes to Kim Dong Wook. Moon Ga Young with her beauty is also no joke. I salute the fashion team on this drama for dressing her that pretty. She's an actress who can wear anything and still look amazing.

The OST is superb. From the first hear, I'm in love with Suran's version of Two People. Even until today, that song is still on repeat.

What's more beautiful is the main idea of this drama which is love between two people: the man is someone who can remember everything and the woman is someone who's very easy to forget. Two conditions that 180 degrees different right? But it's so true that who's best for us to love is not someone who's hundred percent similar, but the one who's in a total opposite with us.

MY MOST FAVORITE K-DRAMA EVER!!!

I'm in shock! Like, seriously! Gosh! Why did it take 3 years until I finally found this drama? I wish I run into this drama earlier! Because This Is My First Life is seriously no joke! With no doubt, no hesitation, no second thought, I will award this K-drama as the best K-drama ever!

It's so relatable (as for engaged 30th woman like me), realistic and not exaggerating in every aspect! I learned a lot, yes, A LOT, from Because This Is My First Life. From the first until the last episode, everything is captured beautifully. Fun fact: all I can remember after finished watching this drama was the gloomy feeling and an urge to I saying "I love you" nonstop to my fiance. Lol!

The drama shows us 3 relationships from 3 mature couples. Every couple has their own battles and problems, ups and downs, see how normal it is right? And in the end, true love wins! What destined to be together will be together no matter what.

What stole my attention the most is the superb acting of Jung So Min. She's a goddess in acting! I can't describe how excellent her acting is into words because she's that good! She's the real definition of actress to me. She can deliver all the emotions to her audiences perfectly and I respect her for that.

I finished watching Because This Is My First Life months ago but every time I got back to rewatch, the feeling didn't change! I still laughed and cried over the same scenes like it was my first time watching it.

Long story short, Because This Is My First Life has left a special mark in my mind and heart. I'm so grateful!

THIS K-DRAMA HAD CHANGED THE GAME!

Crash Landing On You or #CLOY was my very first K-drama I watched after more than 10 years not being in touch with any kind of Asian dramas. Yes, I was a Hollywood's movies and shows-freak for so long.

On February this year, I decided to watch #CLOY because it kept showing for weeks on the trending bar on my Netflix. At that time, I was thinking: “Well, why not? Let’s give this one a try!” And surprisingly, that was the best decision ever! I really enjoyed the whole 16 episodes and finished the entire drama in 2 days! No sleep, for real!

All I can say is #CLOY is special! It really opened my eyes that K-drama is something I can’t miss in my movie journey. The casts, the story line, the OST, I ultimately love everything about this drama. The roller coaster of emotion in the drama really got me! I remember crying non-stop and then laughing out loud like crazy.

#CLOY is special. I really mean it. Because of this drama, I told myself to watch more K-dramas in the future.

And, yeah, I’m ready for my K-drama journey!

Shin PD, you're indeed a genius!

OH MY GOD! Hospital Playlist, both the first and second season, will be my all time favorite K-drama!

I think I don't have to complain about this piece because everything is perfect! The casts are superb, the story line is wonderful, the production is perfect!

I love seeing the fact that Hospital Playlist ended its final season serving happiness to all main leads. Like, everything I needed and asked from the first season had been answered in this final season.

It feels hard to let this drama go, but I believe in Shin PD that another best dramas will be born from him.

Hidden gem!

I finished watching this piece months ago, but just got a time to write a review today.

Lie After Lie is a hidden gem. If you're a drama lover and long for a drama speaking about family and love with some touch of action and thriller, this one is for you!

What I love the most about Lie After Lie is the message this drama tries to deliver that in the end, justice will be revealed.

All actors and actresses involved are superb! I still remember clearly it caused me pain to wait a week long for a new episode. I was that crazy about Lie After Lie! Seriously, this one is a must-watch!

I have no problem with the casts or the storyline, at all. What annoyed me the most is the happy ending happened on the last five minutes of the drama. Can you imagine that?

The story is very simple. There's a self-made CEO who suffers Germaphobes aka clean freak. He's obsessed with sanitation and feel compelled to clean excessively. He even avoids to in touch with another people because of the sanitation reason. And there she is, a woman who's really not into cleaning and stuff. The rest of the drama is as you guessed: the clean freak CEO is falling for the "dirty" woman.

I laughed a lot while watching because the female lead is super funny and I can tell from her face. The male lead is to be honest not my CEO kind of type. But I think it's okay since I finished watching all the episodes.

If you're into simple love story with not much conflicts, this one is for you.

PERFECT! JUST PERFECT!

I'm writing this review while listening the OST and I still can feel the happiness while watching this drama.

So far, I only have 2 dramas on my most favorite K-drama list: Because This Is My First Life and Another Miss Oh. These 2 dramas value a perfect score to me. I have nothing to protest about them two. Everything is just awesomely perfect.

Another Miss Oh is one of a kind, very special. At the first time, I even questioned why the title has to have that "another" word. Turned out, that word is the main keyword of the whole story. Brilliant!

I already saw Seo Hyun Jin from Dr. Romantic ( yes, I watched Dr. Romantic first) but she didn't awe me like what she did in Another Miss Oh. But I can tell that she's a good actress. No matter what role she plays, she's good. What awe me the most is how she sang beautifully on one of the OST is this drama. She sounds very nice! Not forget to tell that Eric Mun is very handsome in his 40. I still wonder why K-drama actors don't age! The older, the hotter. Gosh!

Please do watch this one if you haven't yet!

Lee Dong Wook's visual is no joke!

I watched this drama due to one specific reason: Lee Dong Wook. At the time I started watching this drama, I was crazy about him and there were 2 titles of his dramas I had on my list: Touch Your Heart and Strangers From Hell and I chose to watch Touch Your Heart instead.

One thing I fond the most about Touch Your Heart is Yoo In Na's fashion. In every episode, I was like: "Wow! She's very fashionable!"

The storyline is good, so is the acting of all the casts. I have no complains since this is the typical drama which has a simple storyline and cute conflicts.

S O L I D P E R F E C T I O N !!!

WOW! Just WOW! I finished Itaewon Class just now , weeks after its last episode aired worldwide. I know I'm late to join the party but I'm grateful I watched this one and I won't skip my chance to write a good review here and spread the words about how good this drama is. Gosh! This drama is on another level! It's mind blowing! It's a solid perfection!

I'm seriously in awe and losing my words. I'm speechless! I don't know what to write here because right now, there's too much good things in my brain waiting to be poured in this review. This drama is 180 degrees different, comparing to any K-drama nowadays. It's nothing about lovey dovey relationship or cutie pie story. It's all about something real: fighting hard and be determined while achieving your goals!

The casts in this drama are amazing. Park Sae-ro-yi is the man of his words. He had been through sickest and darkest hell but still standing strong until he finally achieves his goal in the end. Jo Si-yeo is the real deal, the badass! She's the real definition of fierce. Her confident is what makes her very rare and precious. She's genius, has nothing to afraid and exactly knows what she wants in life.

To me, there's not many movies or dramas which can change my life and give me new perspective after watching them. But Itaewon Class is seriously a game changer. Please tell me, how often you watch a movie or drama which successfully boosting your spirit at their ends? When you find one, it feels so so so good and somehow, satisfying!

To sum up my review, I will simply put: Itaewon Class makes me wanna try at life again.

I love this kind of drama. The story is amazing. But what disturbed me the most is the fact that the development of the story is very very very slow! I can't forget how desperate I was several times while watching this. I almost dropped this drama, not once but three times! Gosh.

The story, as you can see from its title, is about someone who's already on her 30 but because she had a terrible accident while she was 17 and brought her to coma. When she finally woke from years of coma, she can't cope with the fact that she's 30 already. And that's it, the story is about her adjusting into her real age.

The main leads are both adorable. This is the first time I watched a drama and found nothing to hate about the characters.
