It's giving Crazy Rich Asian *on a budget* but I AM EATING IT UP. It's so fast paced I had to watch it on .75x speed y'all. The cinematographer really wanted us to watch this drama through reflections. And why are there so many sconces in these rich homes?!?
The AI scenes were distracting but I still have high hopes for the rest of the storyline - I already cried like 4 times. The flashback scenes were so beautiful. 2 beautiful, tortured souls managed to find and hopefully heal each other.
The trailer had me crying already, I can't stand when children gets mistreated even in fiction. She's a strong female lead who will take reign!!!! I love that we will have an equal partnership between main couple, I'm gonna be bawling throughout the whole show FOR SURE.
