can someone give me kdrama recs with a similar main coupleI'm obsessed with this kdrama
Im Not A Robot couple is a little like this...
ML is a CEO who loves aaying he wants to be alone but hes also an absolute BABY, a little boy inside. FL is adorable, kind and smart. Not as much thrill in this drama though - its a hardcore romcom.

In my view Black has the same kind of vibes. I have watched it twice.

Hi guys, I'm quite lost and I need your help. I'm on episode 3 and I still don't understand who is the General…
The other ghosts are just ghosts with unfulfilled wishes, staying in the real world on Cha Woong's spiritual energy. So if they exert themselves, Cha Woong's energy gets depleted. The General is a kind of guardian spirit, the spirit which gives Cha Woong and his ancestors their shaman powers. Cha Woong is next in line, so he is supposed to let the General possess him and become a shaman, but he doesn't want to do that. The General has his own powers and energy. He seems to be in this position because of some grave sin he comitted in his past life.

If Cha Woong becomes a shaman, the virtue points he gains by helping people contribute to helping the General attain nirvana(because the General helps him do his shaman thing). Since that's not an option now, the other way is to receive thanks from people with a Seven Star Channel, which means they are highly favored/have a direct connection with the gods. So whenever Cha Woong helps Seul Hae(who has a Seven star Channel), the General gains virtue points.
None of this is a spoiler.

Lol I can't believe they're still churning out these same ott clichéd plots even in 2022. Like how many times…
Glad you liked it! Such an underrated gem... the cast was amazinggg

I am all excited for this cuz I love JKJ but how will her character be born if she stops her Parents' Marriage?…
Lol i assumed she's suicidal or something... though why anyone would go through all that trouble just to end themselves is beyond me. Or maybe her family situation is terrible so she wants to make sure her parents never meet

This is a remake of the Korean drama "I'm Not A Robot." In the original, the disease is just used to illustrate…
LOL. I agree with you. Kdramas seem to do character development way better than cdramas most of the time

Still can't decide i its worth it. I loved everything about the original, and theyve made a few changes in this version... the only charcter I'm satisfied with is the ML, Connor Leong. He really fits the character. FL... still can't decide. Chae Soo Bin came off as someone kind and caring but just misunderstanding the ML, while this one is just openly mean to him. And IDKKKK why so many dramas seem to think that its cute if the FL cant cook. Its NOT! FL in the K ver could cook but ML never asked her to make anything because he liked making his own food. FL in this one is just a trash cook.

Have you watched Fall in Love 2021?? The republican era drama... give it a few eps because ML is a military commander and pretty asshole-ish when he treats people he's suspicious of but everything smoothens out after some time. The FL is really smart and levelheaded.

I would put him in a separate category...

The others - traumas and fears, face blindess, amnesia when it rains - they all function as plot devices. Something outlandish to get the story going. A flaw in the ML's perfect armor. While this one is more of an illustration of his character inside. Yes, its an outlandish thing that gets the story going, but the rules of the disease make me want to classify it differently. It accurately reflected the level of trust he had in the people he came in contact with. Nearing the end, when he tells FL he thinks he can stand in front of a crowd and speak without having a reaction, or when he puts out his hand to shake his friend's... you can see that he is realizing his own level of trust in people.

If you ever make an article, it would be really interesting, im sure- the CEOs of Dramaland are all crazy characters

I love this dorky cinnamon roll so much🤩 For someone seemingly so very self-absorbed, he has little regard…
Me toooo i love him so much. You said everything I was thinking.

I think it was the scene where Ah Reum hugged him - thats what made me realize. She jumps him from behind but he lets her hug him, even while saying something flippant. The look he gave her as she danced around excitedly was so full of brotherly affection... you could see that all his lonely island talk was complete trash.

I can't wait for this to finish to start watching. I've watched the Korean version and it was awesome, if this…
there are lots of tiny changes here and there... not sure if I like them all. However, Connor is the only one who sold his character to me. I never thought I could ever say this, but he's doing really really well with his character. Yoo Seung Ho was the ultimate, but he comes pretty close. Not totally sold on the other characters, though. I miss the extreme dorkiness of the research team.

A Cdrama ML, who is a CEO and can only touch the FL....remember seeing half a dozen dramas with same concept. Why…
This is a remake of the Korean drama "I'm Not A Robot." In the original, the disease is just used to illustrate his distrust in people. If you only look at it as an analogy, it makes sense. He doesn't get it when he first touches FL because he believes she's a robot and not a human. If he saw her walking on the road as her normal self, he wouldn't be able to touch her(already shown when she accidently touched him as her normal self).

Throughout the series, you see how he slowly comes out of his shell, and thus the disease weakens. After a huge incident, where he loses trust in EVERYONE, he gets it back again. Only when he forces himself to accept people as they are, when he realizes that humans are human, just like him... that's the only cure. It works as an analogy, not a random weird disease - I know, I've watched enough dramas with CEOs having weird diseases. This isn't really one of them.

i never thought of him as self-absorbed. It always looks like he's trying to quench his desire to help people, and now that she's part of his little group, he's happy to let himself go.
"I never knew you were the devoted husband type" XD I knew it, I just KNEW IT
