they finally fixed the subtitles on iqiyi, so there's that!
i really want to like this series. i love omegaverse and ngl the parts they're portraying have been pretty true to it, but i literally fell asleep watching (to be fair, it was midnight, but i was wide awake and unfortunately hopeful for this episode).
it sucks because the trope of an "accidental" permanent bonding is interesting and leaves a lot to explore. if the whole episode was about how it affects both of them that would be cool, i was actually interested when nakhun felt hurt when phatsa did. same thing with the alpha/beta side couple, interesting dynamic but the actors aren't really selling it to me.
tbh it would be better if there was more focus on worldbuilding. wasn't it said in the first episode that omegas were being bitten in the street? is this not weird as hell to the normal people? you'd think that this would have more of an effect on larger society. on the same note, and maybe i'm missing something, but it still doesn't make sense to me how phatsa was a) unfamiliar with abo dynamics in the first place and b) friends with betas who must've just never brought it up?
my stubborn didn't have a great plot either but it was fun. i like boatoat and want to see them do well but, damn, this series is... not the best.
idk how anyone thinks big jane isn’t at the least a little weird… maybe i’m interpreting this wrong but is big jane not supposed to be suspicious? i think at the very least he’s manipulative because he def manipulates people into creating those contracts. or when little jane questions him about what people are saying and he gets all “i thought you were different than everyone else.” to me that seems pretty manipulative. that said, i love the character and this show so far. i’m weirdly hooked 😭
always a great idea to meet your future in-laws for the first time by lying to their faces! it's lowkey giving 'meet the parents' w that plotline 😭 also, i was so confused when ohm showed up out of nowhere and then just left 💔 at least the preview shows why he's there ig.
that was... something... i laughed for all the wrong reasons tbh. like, phatsa just having that toy next to the shower actually took me out 😭 not to mention the fact that they included SLICK in this show?? i am DEAD. it doesn't help that the subtitles on iqiyi are so bad! i stg they got nakhun's name wrong more than they got it right this episode! also, i'm like 96% sure this was filmed in the same house as phun's in lovesick 2024 and idk how to feel about that 💔
it's beautiful and hopeful and sometimes that's better than the alternative. it might seem unrealistic to some, and that's valid, because the church definitely can be hateful to gay people. but on an individual level, i totally believe you can both be gay and love god. i really, really like that's the direction this took because it hits close to home for me.
this show is soooo good, i think i cried every episode. geminifourth are truly something else.
the ending scene... never thought i'd cry over a guy jerking off but here we are. it seems the gay has awoken and i'm scared 😭🙏 also, it's crazy watching fourth's performance in this compared to something like mlmu or msp. guy's got range fr
i love love love all the couples involved but i can't help but feel... disappointed? the whole show in comparison to season 1 was just meh, imo. i did enjoy the finale but also it was oddly cringy? anyone else?
