Anyone complaining about Hwang Jung Eum's acting / character in this drama need to reflect and get over themselves. Oh Ri Jin's character was a huge part of this drama's plot and development success. Perhaps the average viewer has gotten used to the Mary Sue female leads 90% of dramas have these days. Whatever it is, it's terribly misled, as Oh Ri Jin is the most genuine, human, and almost perfectly developed character in a god damn while. Outgoing, witty, and charming qualities aside, she responded to the hardship to which she was subject in as much a relatable way as possible. Refreshingly in the drama trend, she was absolutely not one dimensional and contributed so much to the plot. She was the reason the male lead evolved and gained strength the way he did.

tl;dr If you think Oh Ri Jin was "annoying" you have no taste and you're better off watching some terrible cliche drama like The Heirs. Rant over.
